Music street art is the feature this week from our mural tour. This giant sheet of music covers the entire side of a five story building. Because we wanted to be in the photo, only a portion of the mural is in the photo. The giant snow pile in the parking lot is melting and ugly. Music notes are done in black and white. We decided a black and white photo would be best for this street art. This was painted in 1972 and is Maurice Ravel’s “Gaspard de la Nuit.” The building has since been sold, but the owners would never think of painting over this mural.
My GBGV Life is joining Comedy Plus for some Wordless Wednesday fun.
Madison & Bailie…oh yeah let’s not forget the mom, Cool shoot. At first I thought you used mewsical note overlay on your photo but soon learned differently.
Thanks for visiting and for everyone else I hope you’ll hop by when you get a chance for my Little Mermaid art sketch series feature Carlotta
We are not photoshoppers, always real photos. Sometimes we put some words on one photo, but what you see is real π
omg that is BEYOND COOL!!!!!!! Love it!
It’s really neat to see the whole wall, but unless you pay to have the area deserted or are there in person, it would not be as good looking in a photo, so we just took a piece of it.
That is really cool.
Quite musical, but we did not howl to the music.
I love some of the street art that I am seeing these days and converting the entire image to black and white was the perfect choice. A couple of handsome canines complete the composition. Well done. Have a blessed day.
Since the mural was in b/w, it helped make the ugly snow fit in nicely. Thank you.
The hills are alive with music–and hounds!! Awesome photo. Well done! Wow!!
Bailie and I liven up things wherever we go, or at least we try to! Happy Hump Day!
that’s a super idea !!! we love it and that’s better than the scribble what evil peeps leave on buildings…
Some scribble can be artistic, but most is just evil junk, sadly.
Wow, I bet that is super neat to see.
It is a fun one. My mom remembers it from when she was a little girl.
You two spice up any photograph. I agree that painting over that would be a shame. It’s beautiful. Not as beautiful as the two of you, but beautiful.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. My best to your mom. β₯
Awww, thank you. It’s super cool to see in person.
The snow banks are alive with the sound of music! XOXO, Sparkle
and howls of hounds, LOL!
You NAILED IT!!!
It’s a tough one because it is in a parking lot, but we did our best.
What an awesome photo, girls!
Thank you.
I LUFFS the photo, its a real moody black and white picture. Pawsome posing you two
Loves and licky kisses

Thank you. It would only be better if our muzzles were up and we were howling.
Wow! That creates a fascinating photo!
It’s pretty cool to see because it is huge!
Beautiful, nice work and darling dogs.
Thank you. It is a fun find.
What a very cool mural! It looks perfect in black and white!
xoxo,

Since the mural is b/w, it was only natural to make it all b/w.
very fun background! Cheers!
It’s a pretty neat mural.
Ugly snow aside, that is an awesome photo! Actually, I think doing it in black and white made the snow look more interesting. π
We had to do something because the snow was really ugly, but it works well in b/w.
The street art is lovely and the black and white is perfect for the photo.
Thank you. We have to agree.
We totally love that super cool mural, we hope it never gets painted over!
I don’t think there is any danger of that in the near future at least.
That is an amazing photo. Black and white was the perfect choice because it looks as if you’re sitting on top of a beautiful mountain!
Thank you. It just hit us to do it in b/w since the mural is b/w, and it worked out quite well.
I love murals on old buildings. They are so cool and make great photo ops.
We never realized how many there are in Minneapolis, but now we know.
That is very cool, I like it
Thank you.
