Inspiration Anonymous is the challenge for week 15 of the Dogwood Photo Challenge. The only instruction is to interpret this how you wish. Our inspiration was spring, combining our snowstorm and possible Easter. We had snow, hail, sleet, rain, thunder snow, you name it, we got it. It decided to sleet while doing my photo, thus the water on my chalkboard.
First we tried to capture the beauty of the snow covered bushes. The anonymity of Mother Nature came out looking pretty, but is not quite what we were looking for in our inspiration.
After we colored our eggs for this year, Mom snapped this one of Bailie with the eggs. We like it, but it is still not quite the right photo. Somehow the anonymous left us thinking to leave all creatures out.
Our final decision came down to two photos. The runner up is the front of our house which is plastered with wet snow from the up to fifty mile an hour winds. Anonymous would be, who did this?
The photo we chose for inspiration anonymous incorporates Easter eggs into the snow. Anonymous here is, how in the world did a box of colored eggs end up in the snow? What do you think?
Those are both terrific and chilled photos!
It was a chilly second half of the week for sure!
Wonderful!! We love it!!!
Would you say eggcellent?
I think the Easter Bunny was doing a trial run and decided his calendar must be wrong and went back home!
Now that sounds like a very logical explanation.
I think little bunnies left them for the girls.
That could be. Mom prefers these eggs over the small round ones they leave around the yard all the time.
That seems like a tough one, even though it was left pretty open for you. We love the final photo…it makes you wonder who left the box of eggs there. The anonymous Easter bunny? π
You got some crazy weather there!! I hope we’re finally done with snow here.
That was a bad storm. MN was closed up tight for a day once again, but it is now melting fast.
All good, but the eggs in the snow take the cake! My goodness you have a lot of eggs!!! Must have been a VERY strong bunny or wind that delivered them.
I’m sure the Easter bunny buys in bulk because he really needs lots of eggs.
that is genius!!!! love it… you give this photo such a fabulous twist, that is absolutely brilliant! and COOOOOL!
Thank you. Definitely cooool! Brrr…
I like it! A novel way to keep the eggs cold. That is pawsome the way the brightly colored eggs looks in the somber background. I love the way your furs are flying as the chalkboard is getting sleet on it. XOXO, Sparkle
We had 50 mph wind gusts that day. Mom was happy I didn’t fly away out there!
Great interpretation. That one of Bailie is just plain cute too.
Thank you. We thought Easter is good this time of year, and we had to add in snow since we had a big storm.
I don’t like the snow, but I chuckled with the keep refrigerated. That will do it.
Bailie, you look so cute with those bunny ears. A huge Awww.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your peeps. β₯
That fresh nine inches is almost gone now. This time of year it never sticks around.
Your photos are just fabbers – every single one of them!
Thank you.
Pawfect pop of eggscellent color in the snowy white! Great choice!

It’s true springtime in Minnesnowta.
Fun interpretation! Yes, how would such a thing happen, an anonymous stranger trying to bring cheer? Well done.
Some of the Easter bunny helpers may have come by, we don’t know.
Great pictures and love the end one! Nice job!
Thank you.
