Squirrel TV is something I am always thankful for. When I visit Gramma, I spend most of my time glued to her windows. She lives in a forest, and there are squirrels all over the place. Some of the windows are low, so I can stand and look right out.
If I see something good, I summon Bailie who comes over to check things out too. She is really too tall to be standing on her back paws in this window.
There is another window I like to look out of sometimes, but it has a curtain over it, and a table in front of it. Even though it is tough to look out of it, I try every now and then.
Gramma has a screen porch where I can really take in the sights and smells of the critters and the woods. I don’t get to be out there very much, but I do enjoy it when I am. Last weekend when we were staying at Gramma’s house the weather was perfect for me to be on the porch.
My very favorite spot in the house is Gramma’s living room couch. I can see so many trees and the roof, all places where the squirrels are racing around. I’m glued to the window. Notice, even my tongue hangs out a little bit!
Once and a while Bailie will join me in my favorite window. She is so tall, she can sit on the couch and look out. I have to lean over the back to see out the window. It doesn’t matter what I have to do as long as my squirrel TV is on!

Looks like a wonderful place for squirrel watching!
It is, and I can never get enough of it, but sometimes I have to take a break and have a short nap.
That is some serious TV fun and I’m sure the whole season of episodes will be a blast too! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
It’s a great show 365/24/7!
we love that kind of tv too… and we like people tv, but the mama interrupted our tv-program with removing our sofa from the window… she has no clue about canine entertainment…
I would be devastated if Gramma moved her sofa! That is just rude!
If you move east you can watch raccoons. Just big squirrels.
We have raccoons here too, but we never see them out and about. My mom thinks they are cute.
Squirrel TV is great! I watch from my living room window which has a bench in front of it. How many nose prints do you leave behind?? I noticed your tongue the very first thing. ๐ XOXO, Sparke
I don’t leave too many because I’m not touching the window like I do on my window bench at home. Bailie says in Florida there is a thing called a pool cage and she has seen squirrels running over it. I guess it is pretty exciting.
We have a squirrel cage, but I have never seen a squirrel (in my lifetime) run over it. My mom has seen them up there. They are now getting bird food out of the Yankee Flipper feeder. They climb the pole the feeder is hung on, using a front paw hit the flipper part so bird seed falls on the ground, and then get on the ground to eat the seed. today we saw a squirrel getting a drink of water out of the bird bath!
Squirrels are very rude and relentless!
What dog wouldn’t love that! How fun.
It a dog’s paradise, but when we walk, it is a human’s nightmare as we are bonkers about them all running around us.
Squirrels are evil. Our Little Bit hated them, but she watched their every move too. In between naps that is.
Have a woof woof squirrel watching day. My best to your mom. โฅ
They are mean and nasty to dogs, that is for sure!
When we lived in our apartment in Hamden, mom swore there were more squirrels there than people. There are a lot less where we live now.
Gramma’s area is overrun with those pests, but it keeps us entertained.
We have squirrels here too during the day and opossums at night. Our house doesn’t have a good window for watching, but we have a doggie door to the back yard so we can get up close and personal!
We rarely see them in our yard, but they are all around our area. Gramma has so many because she lives in a forest. Enjoy your squirrels.
wow! your grammas house is an awesome squirrel watching house! You look like you are focused! My little brother has learned how to jump up on our ottoman and watch the backyard. Great post Madison!!! your friend Lilly
Bailie taught me all about jumping up on furniture very early in my life. Mom didn’t like that at all, but Bailie insisted and I think what she does is cool, so I usually do it too. Happy weekend.
Both humans and furbabies love squirrel tv too! Your photos are so darling, have fun cuties!
My mom has become an avid squirrel watcher on our walks. She says she has to see them before we do. I don’t know what kind of a game she thinks she is playing!
Watching squirrels is great, they are very entertaining.
They are crazy critters who love to tease us dogs.
It seems that every Gramma’s house has some kind of special fun!!
Grammas are special people and they always have special things for the grand pups.
We sure wish we had squirrels up here…Angel Dory loved watching Squirrel TV when we lived in Texas!

I heard from Emma that there were not very many squirrels in Germany, so she was happy to be here in the land of squirrels!
I luv skwerril TV too.
It sure beats that weird stuff my mom watches on her TV!
A few years back, Delilah had chipmunk TV, but since her sight is fading, she rarely does any watching anymore. But I remember how excited she would get when one got close to the house. ๐
Bailie has had chipmunk TV at our cousin Lena’s house, but I haven’t seen any yet.
OMD! OMD! I miss having squirrel tv so much but we spotted some on our walk yesterday and I got to tree it. I was so happy. Did you get to give any a good chase?
Gramma’s yard is not fenced, so I can only watch from the house, but on our walks we drag mom around a lot trying to get to squirrels. They are everywhere at Gramma’s house.
Gotta love free tv
It is perfect entertainment.
