Happy Birthday, Gramma! Bailie and I wish you the bestest of days today! We look forward to celebrating with you this weekend. See the big present? It is all for you, but we can’t say what is in it because Mom told us it is a secret!

10. The cat’s food you sometimes forget to put away is at our level, and it is so tasty!
9. Sometimes we get to go shopping with you, or to the library.
8. Whenever you talk to Mom on the phone you tell her to say “hi to the girls.”
7. Sleepovers are so much fun at your house.
6. Your toy basket keeps all our old bones and toys safe for us between visits.
5. You greet us with tasty cookies every time we come to visit.
4. We are allowed on the furniture, as long as we are not dirty messes.
3. There are a bizillion squirrels for us to watch at your house.

That is so sweet! I do not have a gramma but mom (at her age) will do! We are great fans of Dr. Seuss here too. I gotta tell you…I finally had a real play session with my itty bitty sister last night. she is to little to go out in the yard alone as we have osprey, hawks, and owls. We raced from the living room to the computer room for about 30 minutes, and it was a great workout for me as well as Puffin. I was huffing and puffing, and I teached her how to bark like me as she played. We looked like you and Bailie racing in your yard. I had so very much FUN! That one is in Gramma’s toy basket and I usually dig it out when we visit. Good you keep a close eye on the little one. We have heard of the dangers of bad birds and small dogs. Hopefully you two will get lots of fun play games in this long weekend.

We are always so excited to see her! Hard to believe she was never a fan of dogs or cats, but with my mom she had to live with lots of pets and she learned to love pets over the year.
