Watching a weed grow in the midst of our pack is a daily thing around our house. Olivia has been with us for just over four weeks now and she has changed so much. She is an adorable weed, but we call her a weed because she is growing so fast. We thought we would share a few pack photos from the past month.
Perimeter patrol has been a pack activity almost from day one. In the beginning, Olivia would keep leaving to hang out by Mom, but now she is learning to hang out with us and not worry as much about being right next to Mom.
It’s nice that Olivia likes to be in our little pack. Maybe one day we can go on a hunt together, who knows. I would dare a rabbit to enter our yard when we are outside!
Here’s a cute shot of the three of us with our noses together. Sniffing is our thing, whether it is each other, tracking, or whatever.
We had the pool out, but no one would go in. The pool was Emma’s thing. I guess we three just see it as a giant water bowl.
Back in the very beginning, Olivia was not connected to us. Bailie and I were together, and Olivia did her own thing.
This photo is funny as we are clumped together, but we are each in our own bubble.
Finally, we tried again last night to get a family photo. There was some progress as Olivia did lay down for a few seconds, but it still is a work in progress. We can’t imagine what she will be like in another month! Nothing beats watching a weed grow when it is your cute little sister!
They do grow fast. She’s a cutie!
She is just growing like crazy.
It is amazing how our weeds grow and change. Puffin does the yard perimeter sniff with me now. She went to the vet yesterday to get her final puppy shots and weighed in at 8 pounds. She will be a very small Boston and weigh under 15 pounds which is cool. Lile Olivia everywhere Puffin goes everyone says she is so darn cute! Puppies are so much FUN and I say that for the great joy Puffin has brought ME! Mom is on a blood thinner med and we give her horrible bruises – she wears a waterproof make-up on her arms they look so terrible. Have a wonderful weekend! XOXO, Sparkle
Oh dear, no nipping or crashing into the mom. You two need to be more careful. Olivia gets her final shots in 3 weeks.
Great sister pictures – the last 2 are my favorites! Have a wonderful weekend little ladies!!!
Thank you. Hope your weekend is fantastic too!
isn’t that like magic how fast they grow and how fast we think we always were together and not only 4 weekes? puppies have magic powers, that’s for sure ;O)
We can’t remember her not being here. Crazy!
I love that last photo! Puppies do grow fast, don’t they?! The photo of you girls at the side of the pool reminds me of Callie and Shadow…they didn’t like the pool we bought for them, either. Ducky would probably love it; but we got rid of it long before she was born.
Bailie was in it as a puppy a lot, but usually it was Emma who loved to sit in it. Mom said she is done with the pool since we are not interested.
Wow, she is a weed!!! so cute pictures of the three of them.
We like the pack photos.
We love the pictures of the three of you together. You look like a little Pointer puppy in the 2nd to last photo, OliviaβΊ
Uh oh! I hope she is a GBGV and not a pointer!
She’s a cute little weed too. They grow up so very fast.
Have a woof woof day and weekend all you precious pups. My best to your mom. β₯
Mom wishes we would stay puppies for at least an extra year, but it won’t happen.
She is an adorable weed! We agree with sniffing everything – that is why us Basset Griffon Vendeen have our generous sized noses!
I took her to my agility trial this morning and she had her nose glued to the floor the entire time!
Y’all look so cute together and that sweet little Sis sure is growing quickly!
She will be bigger than me in no time.
It’s so great that little Olivia is fitting in and hanging out more and more with her sisters. We wonder what size she will end up being closer to, Madison or Bailie?
We are pretty sure she will be more like Bailie. She is already more than 50% of my size. I’m a very small Grand.
4 weeks already, where did the time go. Great pictures.
I know. It seems like eons ago we were in the car like forever and a day to pick her up.
Itβs beautiful to watch her grow!
We take tons of photos because it happens before our eyes and we don’t notice day to day.
Olivia is growing sooooo fast!! We are glad to see every puppy getting along and the pack photos keep getting better and better!
xoxo,
Arty, Jakey & Rosy
Olivia has to learn to stay, but Mom hasn’t taught her that yet.
She really are growing up fast!
Your little kitten will also be growing fast and a cat soon.
I can’t believe it has already been a month!! Olivia is just adorable and it’s fun watching them become a pack.
She is a lot of work for me trying to teach her how to be a proper hound, but we have a lot of fun.
Puppyhood goes by SO fast. She is growing like a weed, both physically and mentally. I’m so glad that the three girls are getting to be a pack now π
Bailie still isn’t really a fan of Olivia, but I have a lot of fun with her.
I never realized just how much taller Bailey than Madison. I have learned so much from your blog about this breed. I love it. They (you) fascinate me – I might not always post – but I always read. They all look adorable together. Yep – your weed is definitely growing!
Our cutie pie weed π We love reading about your boys. Everyone tells Mom Bailie needs to be a therapy dog, but Mom has no interest in doing that. We think of the boys every time we are told that.
the photo of the three of you together with your noses touching is beyond precious! ALL of the photos are!
Thank you.
