Last weekend Bailie and I were in an AKC Scent Work Trial at Base Camp in Bloomington. It looked like a super fun venue to sniff at, and it really was. The weather was super hot and humid, which added an extra challenge to everything. Saturday we had a really good day, and I earned my Advanced Container Title. If you are a Facebook fan, you may have seen some of the photos on the weekend.
The place is for kids, and Scouts, with all kinds of fun stuff to play on in the huge building. Bailie posed, but she didn’t get to play on anything. Bailie got two legs in Excellent Containers, and one in Excellent Exteriors, but no titles this time around.
I found the Peanuts set up which was so cute, I could not resist taking a photo with it. I just love Snoopy, and Woodstock, they are so adorable!
Once I passed my Advanced Container search, I couldn’t wait to go help Mom pick up my new title ribbon! There were so many ribbons, it is a shame, we didn’t get more than one! Sunday was not our day at all. The heat took its toll and we only got one Q all day.
When we got home, I posed with all my ribbons for this title. I earned two legs and a fourth place back in March in Sioux Falls. This weekend, I was super excited to also earn a fourth place in my search! My new fancy name is now: Ethos Intel Inside TD NAP NJP SWN SIA SCA RATS CGC NW1 NW2 L1E We have another AKC Scent Work trial coming up in about two months, hopefully we will have more success.
I’m super happy about my new title, so we are joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!
awesome!! looks like you had a good time even if it was too hot. What a cool spot for searching! Love your photos! have a good day. your friend Lilly
Thank you, Lilly. Inside searching was pretty fun, but outside was just too hot.
You had a pawsome weekend despite the heat and humidity. How do you keep up with all those titles after your name? XOXO, Sparkle
I remember everything I have earned, but Mom keeps track of the abbreviations because they are hard to remember. Since there are three of us, Mom has an excel spreadsheet to make sure we keep track of everything.
As long as are having fun you are a winner!
We were not having fun searching outside, but the rest was fun.
Congratulations Madison!
Thank you.
Awesome work, Madison! Your name is getting really long.
I know. It is fun watching my titles being added.
You are most talented indeed. I’m glad you did so well. You’re sure a cutie pie.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your mom. β₯
Thank you. Mom was disappointed in our exterior searches, but it was so hot, we were not in the mood.
WOW, congrats on the nice new title and ribbon wins!!!
Thank you. I’m proud of myself.
Wow – you are unbelievable, Madison! Congratulations! We love Snoopy and Woodstock too.
I just keep on sniffing. Hopefully my nose will continue to fine tune itself.
Go Madison!! We love that you have so many titles!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Mom and I love it too. I have to hurry and collect more because I am afraid Olivia may be even better than I am at her sports!
Congrats on your title! Well done!
Thank you. I’m quite happy.
Congratulations!
Thank you.
Congratulations, and good luck with the next event, too. Thatβs quite a name youβve got for yourself!
I have a couple events coming up, so I hope they go well.
I think your string of titles is longer than you are! HUGE< HUGE congrats!!!
the Boys
I think the long list is pretty nice.
Congratulations! I love the Snoopy setup too. It is difficult to do anything during the heat of the day down here. Our temps are in the upper 90s and the humidity is in the upper 80s! UGH! Hopefully, fall will hurry this year.
Summer is not our season, but we have to power through.
While you might not have achieved all you wanted to, you still had a great weekend and congrats on your new title! We’re sure the heat and humidity can make it much more difficult.
Not every weekend can come out perfectly, but I am happy.
Congrats on the latest title. Well done.
It’s not a real title, but it is a paw print in that direction.
