What size collar do you wear, Olivia? That is a very good question. If you follow us, you know she has grown like a weed in the twelve weeks she has lived with us. Right now she is starting to really look like a hound too. Mom never buys fancy puppy collars since we normally outgrow them so fast.
These three collars are her real puppy collars starting with the one she wore when we picked her up the end of May, to the one she was last wearing. Not only have they gotten longer, they are also wider and more sturdy. A girl needs a collar that will stand up to some wear and tear, not to mention, pulling on the leash.
It turns out, Olivia is now wearing the same size collars Bailie and I wear, which means she has access to our collar closet. You know we have over fifty collars to choose from! Mom is a collaraholic. We had different colors, styles, holiday collars, seasonal collars, pretty much any collar a girl might need. I have hear that Mom may be ordering a few more special for Olivia as she usually does when we are old enough for big girl collars.
The three of us now wear the same size collars, same ID tags, and recently the same chip ID tags in our own special color. Bailie got her purple chip ID tag about two years ago when the old one broke. Mom has always liked it, so she thought we should all have our own.
Being pink girl, I have a nice bright pink tag on my collar. Doesn’t it look nice? The rubber ring around the tags keeps them from jingling, wearing out, and, surprise – it glows in the dark! Super cool!
In case you have not heard, Olivia will be our orange girl, so she has an orange chip ID tag. It looks gorgeous with her furs! Olivia doesn’t have her dog license yet. We are waiting a few months because Bailie and I need a new one the end of the year, and Mom wants us all to be on the same time plan. Olivia loves being asked what size collar to you wear now because she really feels like a big girl now. We can’t believe she can already wear out collars!
We are joining Comedy Plus for the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
What a big girl! Kim is a collar collector too. She ordered us Houston Astros collars for the summer. We need Halloween collars!
We have Halloween collars, fall collars, you name it, we probably have it!
oooh Olivia! that’s like that sesame open treasure cave … and now you have access to all this wonderful collars …CONGRATS!!!!
She is excited to wear more fun collars now.
Wow, Olivia really has grown fast! It’s great that your Mom has such a big collection of collars to choose from, but nice that Olivia will get some of her own too. Orange definitely seems like the perfect color choice for her.
We just got a new tag for Luke, and it came with that rubber ring. I wasn’t sure what the purpose of it was, so thanks for enlightening me! π
We think it keeps it from jingling, prevents the color and writing from wearing off, plus it glows in the dark.
How I love coming to this blog and seeing you miss cuteness, Olivia. Of course we love seeing all you doggies. You sure have your pick of collars. Have a fantastic week.
Oh, thank you. Mom says we are all cuties, but especially when we are puppies.
Olivia – I love that chipmunk collar.
We all love it and want to chase it, LOL!
You win! You have more collars than I do and my mom is as nutty about buying collars as your mom is!
A girl can never have too many collars, right?
Canβt you keep her a puppy a little longer.
Mom wishes we would stay puppies for at least a year or two, but we grow up really fast.
You sure grew into those quick sweet Olivia and now you have lots of collars to choose from!
She really has been growing quickly.
OMD, just look at that collar closet!!!! How ever do you choose ONE to wear???
Loves and licky kisses

Mom always decides what we will wear, and we change them every couple weeks.
You’re grown up quickly and you’re ever so cute. There’s nothing wrong with having choices in collars. I think your mom rocks.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to the pups. β₯
We always like to look sharp, so good collars are a necessity.
Olivia, the orange girl, sure is growing into a beautiful girl! I have a wardrobe of collars too, and thank goodness they will be too big for Puffin to wear. She is still wearing her original baby collar, but it has been adjusted as she grows. XOXO, Sparkle
We don’t mind sharing because it gives us a wider variety to choose from. I guess your mom will get to buy more collars for Puffin.
Olivia is growing up sooooo quickly! Our Mama has an obsession with bandanas….so we understand the whole collar-aholic thing!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
My mom isn’t into bandanas because they get dirty super fast if we wear them, but they do look great when they are clean!
Wow – a whole wardrobe of collars to choose from! Nice!
You know girls…50+ collars and some days we say we have nothing to wear!
Oh, Olivia, you’re growing up too fast! I still find it hard to believe that Bailie is six and Madison is two! The collar in that last photo is the same one I bought for Shadow the Christmas right after Callie went to Heaven…the one with the squirrels on it. I love that collar. It was perfect for her.
We all love the squirrels collar. Actually, I just turned three, so we are all about three years apart π
You look marvellous with your collar, Olivia and so much choise tooπΈ Pawkisses for a wonderful week ahead to all of youπΎπ½π
Thank you. You have a great week too!
Olivia, you are growing up so fast. We love seeing you anytime we visit to see how much bigger you have gotten. That sure is a lot of collars to pick from. Thanks for sharing. Have a fantastic rest of your week.
She is getting so big, it is crazy!
Olivia has grown fast! What a pretty girl, the orange does go well with her furs.
We think she will be the perfect orange girl!
Nice fancy collar closet! Our Female Human goes through the ever changing sizes of our walking harnesses, especially for me since my portlyness has gotten out of control.
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Oliver
We have our harnesses too, but once we stop our puppy growing, we normally stay the same size forever around here.
The collar closet! Too funny. Olivia what is your mom FEEDING you??? Well…at least you do not have to wear collars on your feet — Your mom would go broke.
No matter how much she grows, her feet still look huge. We don’t know what to expect!
Such a big girl, i know she will fill those collars well, just as her sisters to.
She is excited to have so many to choose from and to be able to wear them like Bailie and I do.
I have no idea, I have cats only ! But for sure bigger then the once my cats wear !
She has always been bigger than our biggest cat, that is for sure.
Orange is one of my favorite colors! It looks great on you!! Sweet collars!
Thanks. My mom loves orange too.
