Sliced turkey gizzards are for winners! We just bought some more of Ty’s Treats for nose work, and they were delivered to my nose work trial on the weekend. The turkey gizzards are something new we wanted to try out.
We often order sliced chicken and turkey hearts, and have tried the tasty beef liver. So far everything we have had has been great, so we figured the turkey gizzards would be really good too. They are single ingredient, freeze dried treats. What is not to like?
The pieces were larger, but Mom was able to tear them into somewhat smaller pieces. I had chicken as my reward for searching, but when I did good, then I got some sliced turkey gizzards back at the car. Being the food snob, it means a lot when I really love something.
Olivia is wild about them too, but she eats anything, so her recommendation doesn’t mean as much as mine. They are a bit chewy, which is why we opted to use them for car treats, not search treats. We first found Ty’s Treats in September 2017 at one of Bailie’s Trials in Green Bay, and I fell in love with them.
They don’t have a website, but can be contacted by phone or email. We send an email whenever we need to order. They ship to your home which is great when we are not meeting up at a nose work trial.
Whether you are a food snob or not, you should give some of these treats a try. After having gizzards after doing well, I was a true winner on Sunday! I’ll post more on that Friday.
We have not been asked to review these treats, and we paid for them on our own. My GBGV Life just likes to share things we love with our friends. Has your pup every tried turkey gizzards?
