This week there isn’t much going on as the weather hasn’t been very good. On the bright side, it will be warmer and sunny starting today! My sisters and I decided to talk about what we are thankful for this week. I’m thankful for a pawsome groomer. She gets my furs cleaned up and stripped so I don’t look like a dirtball anymore. The process is not my idea of fun, but I do feel good when it is done.
I’m thankful for my speed search the beginning of the month. The Zamboni search is something Mom has been wanting to do for a long time, so I did my best for her and it paid off! A 15 second search. Unfortunately, the judge is standing so you can’t see much of me. On the bright side, the new video format shows you where the hide is (the orange circle that appears). That was a super great search for team Purple.
Good thing I was fast since you don’t see much of me. Mom was wearing purple, but it was raining, and we were outside a lot, so she has her raincoat over her purple.
Me, the family puppy? Well, I was a bit disappointed I didn’t get a real spot in the tracking test this weekend. I got the number one alternate spot. All Mom and I could do is hope they don’t use the extra track so we could test on it. Well, guess what? On Sunday night we got an email from the trial secretary and someone dropped out of the test, so now I have one of the eight tracks! Now, all I have to do is pass the test.
What is our mom thankful for? It is rather funny, but sometimes as a puppy, I poop in the yard. We have a “no pooping in the yard” rule which I usually follow, but sometimes nature calls and I answer. Why is it funny? Well, when Mom is out in the yard with us the next time, I always go to the spot where the poop is and make a point of showing Mom there is poop there. You see, I don’t like having it in the yard either! Mom finds it super funny that I tattle on myself, but she really appreciates it!

Is your Zamboni search on the ice? It kinda looks like concrete but we can’t really tell. You girls always look perfectly groomed to us!
We hold trials at the rink during the time of the year when the ice is out. On ice would be way too dangerous!
Those are all great things to be thankful for, girls! Luke is allowed to poop in our yard, and he also sometimes shows me where it is when I’m cleaning up! It’s a big help! 🙂
Olivia is the only one who has every pointed out poop to Mom, and she does it every time.

I didn’t get any stitches, the vet glued me together. I think it was good glue because I am still together. Good luck at the spa!

For Bailie it was super simple, but only half the dogs or so passed and most had a lot of trouble finding it for some reason.
I love all your thankfuls but the pooping one made me laugh out loud. You tell on yourself. You’re just smart enough to know if you show the mom where you went she’ll clean it up. Brilliant.

We have the no poop in the yard rule because no one wants to step in a landmine! We always get walked to do our poop stuff and then we can play in the yard. Olivia is nice to always point it out for Mom if it happens.

It was a vehicle search trial, so cars, trailers, and since we were at an ice rink, a Zamboni.

Fun days at the office are good. Bailie used to go to the office sometimes when Mom would go there to work on occasion.

Those are all great things to be thankful for! We are thankful that it has finally cooled off some here. It feels so good to spend time outdoors.
We had a great weekend of weather, now the ugly rain and wind is returning, yuck!
