Dogs love peanut butter lovers month too! Did you know November is officially the month for peanut butter lovers? We recently found out, and decided to celebrate with something tasty made with peanut butter. Last weekend Olivia whipped up some stuffed Kong and bone treats for us.
This recipe is super simple and quick, unless you decide to freeze the Kong or bone, then you need a bit of time for that. All you need is non fat, plain, Greek yogurt, a banana, and peanut butter.
To make these treats, we use our Kongs, or empty bones. Olivia carefully checks the bone and Kong to make sure they are clean and empty before she fills them up.
We don’t use measurements for our recipe. Simple slice a banana, add some yogurt, and peanut butter and you have what you need. Remember the bananas create moisture, so use less of them if you want a more solid consistency.
Don’t toss out the banana, go ahead and eat it! Olivia loves bananas, and so does Bailie. Mom has us use the more ripe ones that she doesn’t want, but we don’t mind.
Emma taught me and Bailie to always taste a recipe before serving, and we imparted that piece of knowledge to Olivia. You can see, for her, there was no problem digging right in!
We had frozen peanut butter treats for the weekend, but we also like them without being frozen. I prefer to take the bone as it is easier to eat out of.
Bailie loves a stuffed Kong and is very happy with Olivia’s creation!
Olivia is the poster puppy for peanut butter lovers month! She really loves her Kong, can you tell? Do your pups enjoy peanut butter? If they do, try whipping them up a nice treat to celebrate this month!

Sounds yummy
Humans could eat them too, but maybe in a bowl rather than a Kong.
We loves peanut butter! You did good, Olivia. XOXO, Sparkle
We don’t get it very often, but we do love it.
that is a super idea!!! we love the filled bones the most. they make super loud noises when we throw them on the floor ;O)
LOL! Olivia throws her antlers on the floor all the time because she enjoys making noise too.
What an absolutely great idea! I bet my brother would love this! We will give it a try!! Cute pics of
your baby sister! have a great day. your friend Lilly
It’s simple, but puppies are not into complex recipes, LOL! I’m sure Chester would love it, and you too.
Yum!
Drool worthy.
Hmmm – we need some of these for days when our Mom is being too busy! I (Benjamin) am really good at pushing her into the kitchen.
If you freeze them, you will be busy for a while.
Great job as always. Our Little Bit loved all things peanut butter. I’m glad there is a month to celebrate peanut butter.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to your siblings and my very best to your mom. β₯
My mom can’t stand peanut butter, but she buys it for us π
You really know how to whip up the yum…and enjoy it too!
Self gratifying behavior, cooking that is.
Bananas, peanut butter, even yogurt, Luke loves it all! Great job by Olivia, and we’re glad to see everyone is enjoying it!
Super simple and very tasty!
You are an excellent chef, Olivia. I have lots of empty bones that were once stuffed. Thank you for this yummy recipe!
We have several formerly stuffed bones we keep around to restuff now and then.
What a yummy treat!!

Super simple yet tasty!
That sounds yummy! We love peanut butter but only Bentley can have it so we rarely get it.
It would be hard to deal with a sibling who has to have such a strict diet.
Peanut butter is our go-to here.
The world loves peanut butter, but Mom doesn’t. She buys it just for us.
That’s a very easy yummy recipe. Thanks for sharing.
