We love going to Gramma’s house to see Gramma, but why do we love visiting so much? There are a lot of reasons! Remember she lives in Sherwood Forest, so that alone is exciting!
One of our favorite parts about visiting is the cookies we get from Gramma when we arrive. Mom doesn’t have these cookies for us at home, so it s something special we only get on our visits. They are super fun shapes, and they taste great!
Olivia, being a puppy, loves the toy basket. It has some toys in it, but her favorite thing is to find the antlers and other miscellaneous bones that are buried in there. Once she finds the right chew, she is totally content.
Bailie enjoys the walks the most. A while back, she even wore her fairy wings over to the Fairy Tree. We all enjoy walking in the area because there are so many squirrels, it is nuts, LOL!
My favorite thing is watching the Squirrel TV out all the windows. Those little buggers are out there chasing around in trees 365 days a year, and I love to watch!
We all love to see cousin Bowie, but he is not really thrilled when we show up. He doesn’t like my mom much either because she trims his nails when we visit. Since he is not our cat, we don’t chase him or anything, but usually we give him some nice kisses which we know he secretly loves. Bowie is pretty old and not in the best of health, so we do have to make sure we are gentle when we love him up. Much like Bert, he stands his ground, and refuses to give in to us.
Bailie also enjoys watching the Squirrel TV, but not as much as I do. Olivia will join in, but so far, she hasn’t figured out why we are glued to the windows. I’m sure that will come soon.
After a cold walk around the neighborhood, I find the sunny chair spot for a little afternoon nap. Sun puddles are wonderful in the wintertime.
We always walk when we visit Gramma, have our snacks, check out the toy basket, and eventually we are worn out and ready to head home. Until Mom is ready, we just hang out and nap. Going to Gramma’s house is great, and she loves to have us visit too. Having our Gramma makes us lucky dogs!
We are happy, so weβre joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!
You are lucky!! Your gramma loves you. Thatβs a super place to visit!!! have a good dayβ your friend Lilly
I know, we are super lucky. She isn’t a big dog person, but she loves us.
Grammas are the best people!
Grandmas are awesome, you are right.
That looks like such a fun visit and you each have your favorite things to do there, very cool!
We are all the same, yet very different, but we all agree, visiting Gramma is fun.
oh that is a super place and it has something special to be with granny… for dogs and for humans ;O)
Yep. Our mom likes to visit her mom too.
It’s always fun to visit grammas house. I see you’re treated like royalty there too. As it should be. I’m glad you’re nice to the cat. That’s even better.
As I read through your visit I was reminded the Netflix show we’re watching, Once Upon a Time. There are so many fairy tales in that show. Fun.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your wonderful mom. β₯
Bailie is our family fairy girl. We don’t know much about fairy tails, but we have heard of Once Upon a Time.
Do you share your chew root with Olivia? I do not have a gramma, but Mom is old enough to be called gramma! Oh! Puffin showed her teenage testing yesterday on me! She did a nasty growl/snarl at ME! TWICE! I was a nice dog and did not react, but Mom sure did! The second time Puffin nasty snarled at me Mom’s had flew out and smacked her little butt! I did not know Mom could react that fast! Puffin’s attitude has been perfect ever since. Teenagers! XOXO, Sparkle
Olivia gets sassy like that with me too, and once and a while she tries it with Mom, but learns it is not the way to be. Olivia really loves the root chews, so she can chew on them when she want to just like me.
I like sun puddles and I’m not even a furbaby, just a big baby who doesn’t like the cold. π I also like watch SquirrelTV. That’s a lot of fun to see those little critters scampering around. Here’s to more sunny days over cloudy ones and warmer weather instead of cold. Have a good day!
We are hoping for sunny cold days because we are winter lovers, but we know lots of humans are not fans of cold. Mom sometimes lies down with us in a sun puddle in her office.
We don’t have a Gramma; looks like having one is a lot of fun!
We only have this one, so we have to take really good care of her!
You are super lucky to have a gramma! What fun! Love Bailie’s purple fairy wings! Purple girl keeps going!!
Bailie is always her own hound and doesn’t worry about anything others think.
what a fun time!
We are always excited when Mom says we are going to visit Gramma. Love it!
WooHoo your Grandma is a ton of fun…just like Grandmas are supposed to be. What a nice view from her couch.
OH dear Cussin’ Bowie and his nails…necessary evil I know. Angel Madi would tolerate about 4 seconds of being held by her Dad for her mani-pedi, while I did the deed. Thankfully I had 14 1/2 years experience so I was purtty quick.
thank you for your bday wishes
Hugs Cecilia
Hope your birthday is going well. Mom has been doing kitty nails for so many years she doesn’t even know how many! Bowie is good about it, but he likes to try and hide from her.
You have a very special grandma. It sounds like she loves you as much as mom.
She does love us, but I think no one tops our mom π
Visiting Gramma sure looks like fun. I don’t have a Gramma to visit but I sure do know all about squirrels!
Squirrels seem to be a life long project for most of us dogs.
We would love to have a Gramma to visit but ours lives in Manhattan and mom says we can’t fly up there to see her. Yours seems wonderful and maybe we can adopt her too.
You could drive to Manhattan to see her? Our Gramma doesn’t live in Manhattan, but she enjoys drinking Manhattans. I wonder if the two are related?
You girls certainly are lucky to have a Gramma to visit, and yours sounds like the best! There is something very special about a Gramma’s house!
It is a special place to go where we get a lot of freedom as long as we behave well. Only a fenced yard would make it even better, but that won’t happen.
Awww I can sure tell how much you love those visits!
We all love to visit Gramma and we know what it means too when Mom says it.
Gramma’s house does sound like a lot of fun!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
It is a lot of fun, and we never get tired of going there for a visit.
Does Gramma welcome other pups the same way? Maybe we should visit her soon.
Your fur-iends,
Sam & Elsa πΎ
We don’t know because it is only us that visit her.
Sounds like some really good reasons to visit gramma.
We love going to her house.
