My favorite toy is paws down the guy we call ratty. I’ve never been big on toys, but this guy makes me crazy happy! If you follow us on Facebook, you have probably heard a bit about him already.
When I earned my Masters Title in Barn Hunt last month, I not only got fancy ribbons, I got this wonderful singing rat. No one but me is allowed to play with him.
Sometimes I just enjoy sitting with him, no squeezing or making him sing, simply being together.
Did I mention he sings? I love to hear his music. Mom sometimes says play music and then I will squeeze him so he sings to us. Unfortunately, Mom says he gives her a worm in her ear. I don’t know how that happens, but I’m glad the worm isn’t in my ear! What do you think of his singing? Not bad for a rat, eh?
Ratty loves it when I run around the house with him. I never take him outside because he might get damaged.
If he is too quite I can shake him and sometimes it makes him start singing to me. I think he loves me as much as I love him. The other night I refused to come in from the yard when called. Mom got creative and grabbed ratty, had him sing, and I flew, faster than the speed of light back into the house. I’ll do anything for ratty!
See how proudly I am stretched out with ratty? There is no doubt he is my very favorite toy ever! Look at his adorable smile.
At the end of the day, we curl up together and hit the bed for a nice snooze. No one can take him from me, even if I am sleeping. I’m very thankful that ratty and I are together. Does your dog have a favorite toy like I do?

Mom said we will call him ratty because I got him because I earned my masters title and when we start in the ring, Mom holds me, and then says get the ratty and lets me loose to hunt. Ratty is perfect!
Your little rat friend is almost as cute as you are Madison. He is smiling so brightly because he has you for a friend (or he’s thinking of cheese!). He looks like Remy the rat who wants to be a French Chef in the movie Ratatouille.
LOL! That was another good rat! Sometimes I do have cheese for my rewards in Barn Hunt, but I would not give ratty my food.

It’s me, Duncan. My absolute favorite toy is Lamb Chop, Remember the puppet from Shari Lewis. The medium size is perfect for me to hold in my mouth, carry it around, and make it squeak. When mom asks if I’m hungry (I know it’s a stupid question.) I grab Lamb Chop give him a few squeaks and bring him with me to my dish. I also sleep with him; he’s so soft and cuddly. Mom has to sneak him out in the laundry basket so he can get washed. Once in a while I chew on his ear or paw and it gets ragged. Mom pulls another one from the closet and I have a new Lamb Chop. When she orders food from Chewy, she orders two or three Lamb Chops so there are always extras in the house.
I’m an only dog so I don’t have to worry about it being stolen. I would like a playmate, but our coop rules say one dog per apartment.
Sometimes being an only dog would be nice, but it might get boring too. Ratty can’t go in the washer because Mom says he would quit singing to me.
It looks like you have a very special friend there, Madison! Luke’s friends tend to come and go….he’s not very nice to them sometimes so it’s no wonder! LOL

We don’t usually sleep with toys either, but if I am playing with ratty before bedtime, I bring him along. Mom says if he is quiet at night, he can stay.
We remember watching you playing with Mr. Ratty in Instagram…Rosy reallllllly wanted to get into Mama’s phone and play with you BOL!
