Valentines love for our mom is the subject of day six of our Valentine’s week. Today each of us is sharing one photo of us with Mom, and we are telling what we love most about her. Hope you enjoy our post! I know I love this post and my mom…that is why I’m smiling so.
Being the oldest in the family, I am going to go first today. I love my mom, and there are so many things she does that make me happy, it is hard to choose just one. Sports are fun, cuddling is awesome, but my very favorite thing with Mom is our long walks together, especially in the winter. The one on one time makes me feel so special, and she goes out of her way to make sure I’m over the top happy. We both love it when it is so cold out that we get all frosty on our walk too. Mom is the bestest human I know, and I’m lucky to get to be with her most of the time.
For me, I also love so many things about Mom, it’s hard to narrow it down to one. I think for me, it is doing dog sports together. We both take competition seriously, and we both have so much fun competing together, win or lose. When we win, I get super happy because Mom is super happy, and together we are over the top thrilled. One nose work judge said to Mom last year, “I just love that little dog’s excitement! When she finds odor, she looks so proud, and when you say alert, her tail starts wagging at a hundred miles an hour.” That sums it up. We both love sports and competition, but it is wonderful that we make a great team together. When we finish our searches, I get totally loved up by my mom and teammate, and I adore that. Some dogs may be embarrassed, but not me!
My favorite thing is to be as close to Mom as I can be, and always snuggle her up good. She has called me her Velcro dog since day one, and that is what I am. I can never be too close, or schmooze too much! She gets tons of wet kisses, I nuzzle in her neck, and sometimes I even try to clean her ears. This year for Valentines Day, we perfected a trick called “Leap”. Being a jumping dog, I love to jump on Mom and she loves it too. I learned the “leap” command. She says, “leap”, and I take a big jump, right up into her arms. Her arms catch me and hold me tight, and I snuggle her up. Maybe one day we can get a video of that move for you. For now, I only have this photo of me being her blanket on the couch, and that blanket comes with some kisses too.

Oh my word sweet precious friends…my my daughter was little she would say she loved us
“two hours and a bunch”. ‘Two hours’:to her was an eternity. That is how long she had to nap/rest and not run zoomies all over the house. I am positive that is how much your mom loves you also
