My most prized possession is the BARK ball I found in the toy room shortly after I arrived here. No one else had ever even played with it, but for me it was love at first sight!
Madison actually did a blog post for a BARK bed over a year ago, and the BARK ball came with it. Mom says the ball is too small for anyone to play with, but it didn’t matter as my sisters don’t play with balls.
This might date my mom, but she tells me it is about the size of a racquetball. I have no idea, but I do know it is smaller than a tennis ball. It fits completely in my mouth too.
We have a rule at our house about indoor and outdoor toys. The ball in indoor only, but since I can fit it in my mouth, I can sneak it outside sometimes. Actually, we had a problem as I lost it in the snow for about a month. Thankfully with the thaw, it appeared. Now we are inseparable!
I wish it would throw itself sometimes. It lays there and doesn’t move, but eventually I can’t help but grab it again and make it squeak.
Because it was outside for so long, and I chew on it all the time, Mom is threatening to give it a bath in that washing machine thing. I’m kind of worried that the squeaker may get damaged. It makes such a sweet quiet squeak, it would be a shame if it was silenced.
Dogs live in the moment, so I won’t worry about the bath now. I’ll just enjoy hanging out with my BARK ball, and hope for the best for us in the future. Can you see why it is my favorite possession?
I’m joining the Brianβs Home Blog Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Oh that looks like such a great ball. Glad you found it. You all have a terrific day.
I’m glad no one wanted it so it can all be mine!
A pup and her ball, a love story – BOL!
Most balls I don’t care about, but this one is special.
I’m so glad you found that special ball, you two look very cute together sweet Olivia! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We have a lot of fun together.
It’s so nice that someone is finally giving that ball some love! Our Cricket used to love balls, and Luke did too when she was with us. But now that she’s gone, he doesn’t show much interest. I wonder if you will love that ball forever, or if you will outgrow it? Keep us posted!
None of my mom’s dogs since Trine have had any interest in balls, so I may keep my interest as long as this ball is alive.
Balls are nice – especially ones that squish and squeak! We don’t play ball much, but we run around with all sorts of things in our mouths. You are absolutely adorable Olivia!
We don’t have any interest in balls here but this one is special because it is more like a stuffy that squeaks and happens to be round.
The boys love their toys especially Lambchop and the Furballz! Our squeakers usually survive the washer. Paws crossed!
We all love the Furballz too. Mom rarely washes toys, but hopefully if she does wash my ball it will survive.
She certainly has a ball! Too cute!
I do have a ball, all by myself even.
Itβs a perfect fit for your mouth n
That is how I sneak it outside sometimes…shhh…don’t tell my mom.
I’m guessing mom isn’t going to put it through the wash because you don’t want the squeak to go away. She’s smart like that.
Have a woof woof Thankful Thursday. My best to your siblings and your mom. β₯
It’s pretty dirty after living outside for a few weeks, so I bet she will put it in that machine when I’m not looking.
Isn’t is so much fun to have a most prized possession that only you cares about, Olivia?!
It is, and no one will even try to steal it!
Itβs perfect for you!!!
Thank you. I think so too!
that reminds me of the tennis ball that Dakota used to love. Now that he is older he isn’t into balls anymore π
Bailie has always liked to be silly and play with toys. I play with them the least, and Olivia loves them. We play with toys more than any dogs Mom has ever had.
I wouldn’t let that ball get away it’s pretty special.
It is special, but being so small, it gets lost easily.
