Olivia earned her 7th performance title, RATO on the weekend. Not bad for an eleven month old puppy! She just loves her sports and is pretty darn good at them too. Not only did she earn her title, but she placed first and high in class!
Every trial she seems to get better. For her three Q’s she had two second place ribbons and then cleaned up on her third one! She is pretty happy and proud of herself too. Her new full name is: Ethos Loving The Northland CGC SEN SIN SBN RATO ORT
This is a video of her title search on Sunday. You can tell she was really on track and doing a good job. Remember in Open, a dog needs to tunnel in an L shaped tunnel, climb with all four paws on a bale, and find two rats in two and a half minutes or less. Olivia’s time was fifty six seconds. There are also two tubes with only litter, and one empty tube. Dogs must not alert on the litter or empty tubes.
My weekend started out great with my first Q towards my masters champion title. Unfortunately, my fear issues cropped up and I found tons of rats but didn’t tell anyone. That is what I do when I get fearful. We will continue to work on my issues and hopefully I will do better next time. I’m still happy to have one Q. Staying ahead of Olivia in sports will be a tough job because she is really good. Performance sports are definitely her thing!
We’re joining the Brianโs Home Blog Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am kind of competitive, but Olivia started much earlier than I ever did, so I guess it makes a difference. We both do well and have lots of fun so it is all good.

Congrats Olivia!
Thank you.
Sorry I haven’t left comments lately, but hubby’s dementia is a bit unpredictable and I never know when I’m going to have to stop what I’m doing and help him. But I do try to read all your posts.
Congrats to Olivia, and I know you’ll get there, Madison. Proud of all of you girls!!!
No worries. We are sorry about your husband, that is very hard. Just remember to take care of yourself too.
That is so awesome, congrats.
Now that sports are cancelled for at least 2 months, it is good I managed to get that last title as a puppy.
