It’s Minnesota March weather madness here. They may have cancelled March madness, but not with the Minnesota weather. Tuesday morning we had warm weather and our snow was almost gone!
Bailie was basking in the sunshine hoping for rabbits to come and live under our pine trees.
Olivia was searching for long lost toys that appeared after the snow melted and she was also enjoying the sunshine. But, how long would it last?
Oh, the answer would be about fourteen hours. A dusting of snow they say. Most likely light rain they said, but to our delight, our part of the cities got about three inches!
Some folks were not happy about it, but we were wild! We played in it before bed, and then again in the morning before it would all melt away. It was the heavy wet stuff, so it stuck to my furs like Velcro.
Bailie found her enjoyment in tracking the smells in the snow. Her brain is focused on hunting since she has caught a few rabbits this winter.
Olivia managed to dig up one of the toys we had just found. She had a nice time playing with it in the snow.
I did some sniffing of my own in the fresh snow. Snow and temperatures make a difference in the way the smells travel.
As usual, Olivia has some fun expressions going on with her eyes in our game of chase.
The little, big one just loves the snow even just walking around in it.
Did someone say Minnesota March weather madness? Count me in…I’m on my way…look out! We love the snow so much. Sadly, the snow melted about as fast as it arrived. Paws crossed we get another load this month.
Weβre joining Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.
Great photos!! Canβt believe you got that snow. What fun!!! Mom is home. She says we are going to walk and walk and walk! woohoo! have a good day! your friend Lilly
Hope you had some nice walking.
We know how much you girls love the snow, and we love seeing you have fun in it! We know you’re not happy about this early spring like we are, but we are not feeling so good about it today either. It is just raw, cold, and raining today. Yuck, nothing good about that!
It is ugly and messy, not a lot of fun really.
What a boring spring this will be. No baseball.
And even worse, dog sports are all cancelling!
WOW, you sure were enjoying those 3 inches of partly cloudy, what fun!
Fresh snow is always fun whether it is an inch or twelve.
Woo Hoo Mother Nature sent you one last romp in the snow!!!
I love how you two love and embrace your weather!!
Hugs Cecilia
We are all winter fans here, but this was not a good winter. Better luck next year I guess.
Whoo Hoo! Love to see the girls making the the best of any situation. We could learn a lot from our furry kids.
Mom loves to be out in it too. She loves the cold and snow like we do.
Your winters last a long time but we know you LOVE it!
This year is really short and we are not happy about it at all.
normally we are the area of 4 seasons during one day ;O)))) your mister winter is strong he will not give up…
Mr Winter is a wimp this year. Too warm, too little snow. We will survive and hope for a better one next year.
Glad you had one more taste of winter!
Sadly it is probably the last one from the looks of it.
We have yucky rain today. How I wish the snow had fallen in my yard. You girls are so lucky!
Rain is only good for one thing, and that is napping!
We know you love the snow so enjoy every minute romping in the snow.
Have a woof woof day and weekend. My best to your wonderful mom. β₯
We sure do, but those few inches came and went so fast it was crazy.
When you just think there will be no more snow. Hopefully, this will be the last of it so you can find toys again after the snow melts away. Thanks for sharing the cute photos. Have a fun upcoming weekend.
We would love a huge snowstorm, but it doesn’t look like it will happen this year.
We love watching you all play in the snow…you can see your love for it in your expressions!!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
It is always fun and the fresh stuff is the best to play in.
What fun, one last winter blast for you!
It was a small and short blast, but we will take it.
You three are truly snow dogs π What wonderful photos of you!
We do love it, and sometimes we think Mom loves it more than we do. Winter is our time!
I hope you gals get another romp in the snow too.
It’s not looking good, but one never knows.
