Has your dog taken the #ToiletPaperChallenge yet? Who would have ever thought toilet paper would become such a huge item? A friend of ours posted a video of her challenge, and I decided I wanted to give it a try. Mom decided to just use the camera, and not do a video. How high do you think I can go? Read the post to find out!
One starts with one layer of toilet paper rolls. Of course the key is having enough rolls for your dog to jump. Later you will notice, this became an additional challenge for me and Mom. I cleared one row with ease, as expected.
Now we are up to two layers. For a tall girl like me, this should not be an issue, right?
Up, up and away, no problem! It would be quite embarrassing to fail at this level!
Now we are up to three layers. At a height of four inches per roll, that makes my jump twelve inches. Hmmm…I think that is what Madison jumps in agility…she is short!
This should still be a walk in the park for me, but I want to make sure I don’t make a dumb mistake. No worries, I can clear this height but I do have to start to jump a bit.
Four layers starts to get more challenging for me. Mom has also noticed that the sides are going to be a spot I may try to sneak through. Will she fix that, or allow me to cheat?
I think it was a little bit of her letting me off easily, and me taking advantage of the opening, but still, I didn’t knock down that top one I was super close to.
With five layers we are starting to have issues. See, Mom is not into hoarding, so our supply of rolls is not never ending. On the positive side, she is always one to have extras of everything on hand, so we have plenty of toilet paper for what it is intended for. We are learning that we may not have enough rolls for the #ToiletPaperChallenge if I jump really well.
Mom had to reorganize and precariously balance the rolls we had to make sure I would need to clear the top with no cheating. She did a good job, but if I slightly graze a roll, it will be over. No worries, I can do this! My form is not bad considering I never was an agility dog. I quit agility after like two months because I didn’t like it.
Now we are up to twenty four inches, or six rows. This is getting to be tough. I’m jumping from a stand stay, not taking a run up to the jump, making it even more difficult. The stack is about as tall as I am and very precariously balanced too!
Hold your breath, here I go! Up, up, and crash! I tried to make it over the side, but it was a total fail!
Toilet paper rolls are flying…hoarders are racing to scoop them up!
At least toilet paper is soft, so no one is hurt by all the falling debris! My form was way off, but I made a valiant effort. What do you think? Are you impressed by my clearing five rows? Have you tried the #ToiletPaperChallenge? It’s fun to do if you have enough toilet paper, some time, and a dog!
Iβm happy, so Iβm joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!
Is that where all the toilet paper is going? Good job.
Mom always has a 24 pack in the closet, and gets a new one when she is down to 6 rolls or so. She got a new pack right before it all disappeared off the shelves.
That was quite the fun challenge, you did a great job!
Mom and I both had a lot of fun with the setup and execution.
That was darn good sweet Bailie and it looks like it was fun too!
It was fun. Never have we ever done anything like that.
yeah!!! great… we havonly 5 rolls, so we hope to get some mre this week to try it too LOL
Oh boy, getting desperate I would say. Luckily, Mom is covered because she is the person that always has extras of everything always. She wanted to get Gramma some more toilet paper today, but there was none.
hilarious!! Looking good Bailie!!
You two could give it a try. Who is the better jumper?
Oh my gosh, how fun! And what a good jumper.
Mom couldn’t believe I cleared the 5 high stack because it was so precarious and high! Lots of simple, but good fun.
Five rows was fantastic! Great job, Bailie! XOXO, Sparkle
I surprised myself clearing that one!
Good job Bailie!
Thank you.
What a fun challenge. You did well. The best part is you actually have toilet paper. Excellent.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your siblings and your mom. β₯
Mom is very happy she is a person who always has at least one extra of everything in the house all the time. Right now it is paying off in toilet paper since those shelves are still bare!
Yes, we are quite impressed, Bailie!! That was fun! I’d love to try Luke with this, he is quite a good jumper, but I don’t think I have enough tp in the house at this point!
Mom didn’t expect me to do so well, so we really didn’t have enough for six high, but she managed to rearrange and balance so it worked.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful post on this challenge. We have been seeing this all over. Bailie, you did such a pawsome job. It looks like so much fun. We hope you are doing well and having a great day.
Thank you. Mom and I had a lot of fun with it. Most did videos, but we thought still photos would be fun too.
You did a great job, Bailie! I need to give this a go!
If you have enough toilet paper, you should give it a try. Mom had fun, and so did I.
We are VERY impressed Bailie!! We think we may have had a hard time with 2 rows!

Mom is still amazed I cleared 5 levels, and she feared not having enough toilet paper if I cleared 6 as we had it all out. It was super fun.
That looks fun!
It was something new and fun to try.
Bailie, I think you OWN that challenge! Too cute, just too, too, cute!
Thank you. It is a fun thing to do indoors while stuck at home.
Very impressive! But we don’t have enough toilet paper to go that high! LOL!
We were seriously stretched to our limit with what we had!
Good jumping ! Now purrhaps we felines should do a video about proper paper shredding to teach you canines a new skill!
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Alberto
Oh no! Our cat bro Bert shreds toilet paper and has taught Olivia to unroll toilet paper. Right now it is far to valuable for cats to be messing with!
Ha! To only have that kind of a barrier. I just yesterday finally found some available. It was like winning the lottery. π
Mom is looking for a package to take to Gramma, but so far 3 stores this week, zero toilet paper! It really is getting on her nerves that there is no toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels, flour, or yeast. People this is a long haul, so act normal, right! Some have always found Mom silly for having extra of everything around the house, but right now, she is the one laughing. No hoarding, just an extra pack of everything.
Great job, Bailie! I’ve seen the tp challenge on one of FB groups; but haven’t tried it with Ducky because she has a little stiffness in one of her back legs, and I don’t want her to injure herself.
One needs to use common sense, so good to keep Ducky out of the challenge, but it sure was fun!
Haha thatβs awesome. We have done nothing with tp.
It was a spur of the moment fun thing to try.
Stumpy just stared at us when we tried it. Although to be fair a senior Dachshund is not a dog that gets excited about jumping over anything.
This is very true. Mom chose me because I’m taller. Madison can jump, but she might have made it over three layers, no more. She is pretty short.
That’s impressive, and I bet it was fun to knock over all those rolls. Raven wouldn’t make it past two levels. After that, she’d expect to be carried over.
I’m not a real jumper, so Mom was super impressed with my efforts.
