An all natural back scratcher right in my own yard is so pawsome! For some reason, I’m the only one who just loves to rub my back on the dry grass and leaves.
I roll around, and roll around. Olivia looks at me like I’m nuts, but it feels so darn good!
Sometimes I stretch myself out really long to get the full relaxation feeling. Since Mom didn’t do a good job raking last fall, I get lots of nice leaves in my furs too.
Can you see my smile on my upside down face? An all natural back scratcher feels so great, I can’t tell you. You all should give it a try, although through clothing, it probably wouldn’t feel like much of anything.
Okay, now you are getting the look from me, the look of pure joy.
Finished! Don’t I look fabulous? Well, I guess I look like I need a groomer, but I feel amazing. Mom can’t do a lot of grooming with me. Ever since I was a tiny pup, I have fought the brush, comb, nail trim, everything like crazy. My sisters got spiffed for Easter, but Mom says I’m a project she has to be ready for!

My mom doesn’t like it much because I bring a lot of leaf fragments into the house with me.
What a great roll in the leaves! May I say you show such joy? I do not like being groomed by my mom either, so I go to my groomer every 6 weeks. I love to roll in my yard too! So does Puffin. XOXO, Sparkle
The groomer tells my mom how good I am, but Mom doesn’t believe it since I’m a holy terror here at home when it comes to grooming.

We wish it was fall so maybe this virus thing would be gone and winter would be coming again soon.

They do fall off, sometimes in the house, but Mom can vacuum them up. I love rolling around outside.

I think you look so cute with the leaves in your hair. My Alex also does not like to get brushed etc. Unfortunately, the groomer is closed and I am grooming him a little at a time.
LOL! That is exactly what Mom has started to do with me. Today was a beard trim and thinning and a bit of stripping. I fought against it all, but she got some work done on my furs anyway.

Awww, Little Bit. Funny how I’m the only one of us that rolls around on our lawn.
We all love a good roll outside. I (Benjamin) really don’t like any of that brushing nonsense either.
Mom and I are having daily battles about it right now because the spa is closed and I’m a shaggy mess.
I”m with you, Madison. I love rolling on the ground – leaves or grass – it makes no difference to me.

Both of the boys enjoy a good yard back scratch. Bentley LOVES to be groomed and Pierre (who needs it daily) HATES grooming with a passion.
Olivia and Bailie don’t mind a bit, but me, I fight to the end against it.
And I think the leaves add to the handsomeness of the dog! Too awdorable for words!
Kind of like fur decorations I think.
What fun!! We like doing that on the rug…but have never tried it in the grass before!

Outside on the lawn is the best and sometimes I find something disgusting to do it on, which I love, but then I end up with a bath for some reason.
Now that looks like a very happy dog!! I haven’t seen Luke roll on the grass yet. I think he likes rolling in the ice and snow more; but we’ll see! I raked up all his leaves though! 🙂

We keep our people back scratchers all over the house, and i even have one in the car. When you need a scratch, you just have to have it!
It’s bad if you have an itch and can’t scratch it!

Oh my! That looks like ecstasy! I wish that our snow would go away so that we could feel grass on our back!
Our grass is gone for a few days with our fresh snow, but we love the snow, so it is fine with us.
