Incoming – when our backyard becomes fun at the racetrack! I was minding my own business, when out of nowhere, Olivia came flying at me. Usually, I ignore her, but this time I felt like doing some racing. Every now and then I enjoy giving her a run for her money.
We took off at high speed! I had the inside of the track, so I was able to get slightly ahead of the little one.
Normally, Olivia is out front and I am trying to catch up. I’m taller, but also older. Most likely my age is slowing me down when racing the little whippersnapper!
Whoa! That was a close one, we almost had a crash here. Not sure what went wrong. Maybe Olivia tried to make too tight of a turn?
No problem, back on course for more fun at the racetrack. Speed is what is it all about.
I have to admit Olivia is in top shape and has really good speed. Most likely, she enjoys being chased rather than being the chaser.
We were having so much fun, I wanted to keep racing. I pulled out my best play bow to get Olivia up and running again.
Sometimes we both slowed a bit to catch our breath, but neither of us wanted to be the first one to quit running.
After a short slow down, we are up and ready for more racing and chasing fun. If you are wondering, we don’t do chase and wrestle, only chase. Madison does chase and wrestle with Olivia, I just want to run with her.
Weβre joining Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.
wow you are super fast pups!!! we would love to play with you!!!
I bet you guys would be faster. It would sure be fun to place chase with you, though.
OMDs look at you two lovely ladies leaping!! You both made a great turn there in pics #2 and 3. give mom a high 5 for all the action shots.
Hugs and Happy May
Cecilia
Thank you. She loves getting good action shots of us!
It’s tough to keep up with those young ones, but you sure gave Olivia a run for her money, Bailie! (excuse the pun!!).
That looks like it was a lot of fun!
It was fun, but now I’m back to ignoring her for a while.
Itβs great to see you girls playing together.
Every now and then I’m in the mood to play chase with Olivia.
That looks like so much fun! Although as an older chap these days, I’m not sure I could keep up with that young whippersnapper Olivia for long.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
I’m only six, and even I have trouble!
What wonderful pictures your Mom takes of you girls!
Thank you. She loves taking photos and we love entertaining her.
You look like poetry in motion! What a fun time for the two of you. Happy Weekend! XOXO, Sparkle
We can race pretty well together and it is fun but only when I say we will do it.
Wow! Way to go!
Full speed ahead
I remember those days with Mackie when I had a fenced in yard. It’s fun to run at top speed with a buddy! Great photos, girls!
I bet those are great but sad memories for you. I’ve lost two sisters I used to play chase with, but now I have two others.
Ducky would have a blast running with you girls! She’s super-fast – like Olivia – but she wears us humans out!
Mom would never even try to keep up with us. She is happy being in one spot taking photos.
Great action shots. Mom sure knows how to capture your wonderfulness.
Have a woof woof day and weekend. My best to your wonderful mom. β₯
She has a lot of fun taking pictures and we have at least as much fun racing around.
Wowsers, you two are faster than fast!!!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
We both have longer legs, so loads of speed.
That was sure some amazing romping and running sweet girls! I need a nap after seeing that!
We came back inside, had a snack, then went to bed!
What fun!
We all love to play some chase.
I love getting to play chase too!
It’s a lot of fun, isn’t it?
Great way to get exercise.
Burning off our dinner.
