Coconut and raspberry puparitas are on the menu today for Cinco de Mayo! What dog wouldn’t want to celebrate with a fancy, homemade drink? I’ve got the recipe, and I tell you, it is mighty tasty! At our house, I’m kind of queen of the party drinks. I have a yellow snow drink if you think that would be more your thing.
What do you need for these tasty puparitas?
- water
- coconut shavings
- coconut water ice cubes
- raspberries
- a blender
- margarita glasses
We didn’t have coconut water, so Mom had me blend coconut shavings with water, and then pour into an ice cube tray and freeze them. It was super easy to do. Once you have solid ice cubes you can blend up your puparitas. I don’t formally measure, just guess. In the blender, I added some regular water, lots of the coconut water ice cubes, and a paw full or so of raspberries. Blend adding more water if needed until the puparitas are the desired consistency.
Once they were blended, the frozen coconut raspberry puparitas were ready to serve. I used my rubber spatula so I could get every drop out of the blender. Madison is so fussy, she had no interest in even trying my creation. Luckily, Olivia was up for it so I didn’t have to drink alone.
We took our puparitas out on the deck to give them a try. They smell heavenly, and the taste is pretty good too!
Olivia was really into her puparita. She has never had one before, but I think she is in love now. Normally she is such a chow hound, but she was quite dainty with her frozen drink.
Can you tell from this photo that mine tasted amazing? I wanted to just gulp it all down at once.
It’s amazing how wonderful such a simple drink can actually taste. I must suggest that you do drink these in moderation. As you can see, Olivia may have over done it a bit with hers!
Feliz Cinco de Mayo to all!
My GBGV Life is happy, so weβre joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!
This would make a great drink all summer long!

Thank you. Hope you boys got to celebrate.
Wowzers, I would love to share one of those with you! Enjoy your day.
Humans could drink them too. Our mom can’t stand coconut, so it isn’t for her.
Sounds delicious. Maybe Iβll try it with tequila for me.
You certainly could!
You sure mixed up a batch of yummy fun!
Gotta have a party when you can these days.
Looks yummy – maybe we will try that, or maybe a blueberry one.
You could use any fruit that dogs can eat.
Well done Senorita Bailie! Please do not get the frozen throat or ice cream headache from the icy cold drink! It looks yummy! XOXO, Sparkle
Maybe that is what happened to my party buddy, Olivia. She was all over her drink and then crashed with her head on the table.
Save one for me! I”m on my way! Happy Cinco de Mayo!
We have plenty, and we can always make more.
I want one too and then I can love all over all of you. Just saying.
Mom did a great job on your Cinco de Mayo post. Wow.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your wonderful mom. β₯
We had to blend up something tasty to celebrate this day!
Too funny! Looks YUMMY!!! We have some coconut milk or paste or something coconut in a can that mom keeps hiding. We have ice cubes and a blender. We need raspberries, BUT mom might have some other canned fruit squirreled away. Olivia does look a wee bit wasted in that one photo. We are glad that you did not have to drink alone. We have to try this!

You boys would love it and they are so easy to make. Not sure why Olivia conked out. She was really getting into her drink and then bam, she was gone!
That has us drooling! Happy Cinco de Mayo!
I bet Texas celebrates a lot more than we do here!
Get your drink on ladies – enjoy!!!!
We could use some handsome boys at our table…wink, wink…
You have to watch those young ones, don’t you, Bailie! Great job, those look delicious!!
Olivia doesn’t understand limits yet.
That does sound tasty! Thanks for the recipe Senoritas!
Hope you enjoyed some delicious frozen drinks!
The drink looks so refreshing. I think I would enjoy it all summer long. Thanks for sharing. HUGS
Humans could drink it too, but it might not be exciting enough.

I think Cinco de Mayo kicks off summer for many. Here we are going into a cold spell again with freeze warnings the end of the week, but we can leave our puparitas outside without them melting I guess!
That looks delicious, not only for today and you look very sweet and festive. Hope you all had a wonderful dayπΈMore clean Pawkisses Stay Safe Healthy and YourselfieππΎπ½π
