I love my morning fun with Furballz. Almost every morning I walk or run with Mom, hang out in the yard, and then I come in and get all wild with my Furballz. Bounding around the floor and furniture with Furballz is so much fun. I have two of them, and I take whichever one I find first.
Mom works on getting our breakfast ready while I’m racing around with my favorite toy. The big chair is always the favorite place to hang out. Take a good look at how much Furballz and I look alike! Perhaps I am a living Furballz toy?
I do run out of my wild energy after a bit. This is when I cuddle with my play buddy and wait for breakfast to be served.
Then there are days like yesterday where we had almost four inches of rain. Mom gets all bundled up in her rain gear and insists we all go for a long walk. All we have is our fur which means we get soaked. After the walk, we go in the yard, and then when we are ready to come in, we go to the door. I was soaked through and through.
Do you know what a wet dog loves to do? Why yes, the same thing I love to do every morning. After being toweled off, I race to the living room, grab my orange Furballz, and start my usual wild play.
Next thing Mom knows, I’m laying long on the couch, having fun with Furballz. She gets all upset about a wet dog on the couch. I just look at her like I’m doing nothing wrong. It’s not my fault I’m soaking wet, she is the one that had to take the long walk! Okay, fine. A girl needs to make sure breakfast is served before upsetting Mom too much, so I took Furballz, and hopped down.
Naturally, I could not resist the big chair, my favorite spot. Furballz and I hopped right up there and Mom went nuts again! My goodness, is a wet dog really that terrible??? Maybe one of my nice online friends would send me some of that Febreze stuff I see in the commercials on TV to get rid of unwanted odor?
Look at my precious Furballz. There is no way I could come in and ignore them. They are always waiting to play with me. In my canine opinion, Mom overreacts to me being a wet dog. No worries, nothing can spoil my Furballz love, and the fun we have playing together in the mornings.

My furs are still a mess from being so wet yesterday. Just when I was getting dry, I had to go out again to use the facilities.
These images are priceless and the rain soaked canines are just adorable, even if they didn’t completely enjoy the experience. Our Lucy loves her frisbees but rain is definitely not her thing.
We don’t mind rain per se, but long walks in it and all day long is a bit much 🙂
Where does she expect you to sit? She was the one that made you run in the rain.
Mom always says it’s “our” house, but then I’m not supposed to be on the furniture? I’m the dog who made her give up the no dogs on the furniture rule, now working on the no wet dogs on the furniture rule.

It was a really dreadful day. Napping was the only good activity.
Oh my dog! You are so adorable with your Furballz. My mom tells me the wet dog smell is not very appealing. I say she could blow dry my hair! Your mommy could do that too. Don’t worry my mom does NOT blow dry my hair, and she just lives with my smell. You do have the most expressive face, Bailie. XOXO Sparkle
With three of us and the wet dog aroma, it covers the whole house! We are not dryer fans, and Mom doesn’t have the patience to dry us either.

It isn’t really a bad thing, but I do feel better being dry.
wet dog prize! doesn’t you mom know how to let one dog in at a time and dry you off with a towel? our mom has us trained. we still roll around on the carpet afterwards,but then just the carpet smell doggy and mom uses baking soda sprinkled on it. Arm & Hammer makes a dog fresh shake able one. But your mom needed pictures, so you got lucky, and SHE is left with the wet furniture — we think SHE is n the dog house! LOL WOOF WOOF
The Boys
We do always come in one at a time and get towel dried, but it really doesn’t get all the water off of us. We were totally soaked to the bone! Oh well, wet dog smell will disappear.
HAHAHAHA! That is awesome! We love to run all over the house too — even after coming in from the rain. Mom says the whole house smells like wet dog! You definitely look like a furballz!! You have the same hairstyle! We have one furballz and my brother loves it. Great post !!! your friend Lilly
Thank you. Mom says it is the same way we behave if we get a bath. We get out of the tub, towel off and race around the house. Maybe you need a second Furballz? Mom is contemplating a third for us since we all like them a lot.

Mom says she is nose blind to it most of the time because she is overwhelmed by so much of it.

Our cats would probably scratch them when they run over them. For now we just deal with the wet dog smell.

Wow, you’ve had a lot of rain there! I’ve kind of given up on worrying about the wet dog thing, we just do our best to dry Luke off when he comes in. Of course, it’s easier with a short-haired dog though!
Luke loves his Furballz too, as ratty as they are!
They look just like my head furs, a total mess. Mom has kind of given up about worrying about wet dogs too, but yesterday was extreme wetness!
When the dogs lived here, we only let them out under the overhang to do their business when it rained. They never wanted to be out in it anyway, so it kept wet dog smell to a minimum.
That would work, but we have the “our yard is not a bathroom” rule. We can pee, but no big business in the yard. Mom can’t stand poo all around a yard, so we learn to do that on our walks. We have to go out early to get that done.

We have Furrballz and they are one of our favorites. It’s amazing how tough they are and keep on being fun. Ugh! We don’t like going out in the rain.
Mom doesn’t mind rain sometimes but we had way too much and it was just a wet mess around here.
