Our life in the jungle is a real thing these days. No matter how hard humans try to keep up their “normal”, the abnormal won’t leave them alone. All this mess causes stress, and it is the job of the dog to help reduce that stress. The best way we can take care of our mom is to get her out in nature with us. We forget everything that is going on in our lives, and it is our happy place.
Some people reduce their stress by helping others. They might be making face masks, delivering food, or helping to clean up the destruction left from all the horrible riots we have just had in our cities. If that is what helps you, then that is what you should do. We are all so sad at the destruction of our cities the past nights, and are grateful we have so much help to put a stop to the senselessness. No matter what happens during the night, the sky is a beautiful blue in the morning. The start of a new day, a new beginning.
Everything in our part of the world is in full bloom and is so very green, just like a real jungle. Heavens, even I am green because of being surrounded by so much green! No matter what is right or wrong in the human world, nature keeps on going, full speed ahead, full of life.
Hopefully the senseless violence will end soon, the virus will stop spreading so fast, and we can all get back the life we dearly miss. Who could have imagined how the year 2020 would be? Find what makes you happy, what reduces your stress, and make time to do it. Our runs and walks every day are the most important part of our day. When we are out and about, we forget all about anything negative going on in our lives or in the world. Stay safe out there and stay happy!

you are barking the truth!!! Today is my birthday. I am 12 years old!! Holy Cow! have a good day. your friend Lilly
Happy birthday! I hope you had a special day with loads of extra love and good treats! Next year you will be a teenager!
The three of you, and your mom, bring a Katie and I peace every day. Stay safe
Thank you. We do stay pretty safe. Mom doesn’t want any of us to be hurt.
Stay safe and healthy.
We are trying.
Nature is a beautiful way to enjoy life these days. Puffin and I surround our mom with so very much love, hugs, and KISSES! We had that BIG space launch in our area, and wish the media would give that story more attention. Stay safe! XOXO, Sparkle
We are thankful they barely mention the virus right now as that is so over done, but now we can’t get rid of the riots. Not a very good year.
Beautiful pups and a beautiful environment, if that doesn’t take the stress away, I don’t know what will. Stay healthy and safe all!
Thank you. It does relax our mom a lot.
It’s all green here too and the heat is rising. Summer is right around the corner.
I too hope we can get back to normal soon too. It’s been forever for some thing.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Stay safe and well. Scritches to the pups and my best to the peeps. β₯
We are excited to be starting back to our sports, maybe some trials and the groomer.
we hope with you that all this sad things will find an end… maybe the nature can help and heal us…
Mom says she just feels overall sad. It is really not a nice time on this planet.
You do look very pretty out in the nice green grass and we do hope some normal shows up soon.
All our paws are crossed for that.
Everything looks so green and plush. Beautiful. We too are taking advantage of the spring time weather (getting hot though) long walks and together time. Eventually all this will be in our rear-view mirrors I pray – but until then we must stay strong, safe and above all – sane! Take care my friend – take care.
It can’t be in our rear view mirror soon enough. Not nice times at all!
Thank goodness we have our morning walk that allows us to get out and stay happy! Nature is so beautiful!
Isn’t it the best way to start every day?
Mama has started coloring. She is also going to make a point of getting out for rides in the wilderness more often with one of us. The world is really starting to stress her out too!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Mom tries to ignore it all, but you can’t, and it does get to her. She doesn’t like feeling sad because that is not how she is, but it keeps happening.
that advice is pawesome!! We have been making sure we are taking walks (with Dakota when he decides to join us) every single day. All of the violence lately is terrifying…..it broke my heart to see what happened in your city ….the peaceful protests SHOULD happen, but the outside agitators are what is ruining it. George Floyd did not deserve to lose his life…….nor did so many other black people who were brutalized by some of the cops out there who are awful. The majority are not…….but it is just horrific what happened.
What has happened has nothing to do with the killing, which is so sad. People are using it as an excuse to destroy a city and it is simply wrong and scary.
Beautiful photos with such a cutie pie! π <3
Thank you.
You girls are so cute!
We try to be as cute as can be π
That is very sage advice. I don’t know how we’d cope if we couldn’t get out and enjoy the outdoors, or if we didn’t live in a place away from all that hate and violence. Maybe too many people miss out on that and that is part of the problems with the world. π
We don’t want to live away from it all, the suburbs work for us, but right now it is not good and we hope it gets better soon.
Right now, loving and helping others and being with our pets is the best therapy we have.
It is the only thing that really makes Mom happy because everything is so sad right now.
Beautiful flower bed.
We loved those flowers.
We hope the crazy world calms down and makes systemic changes so we never have to go through it again. Stay safe, stay sane and keep smiling.
We don’t know what to think about it all, so we try not to think about it too much.
We have quit watching the news lately. It is just too depressing. There is so much senseless violence and Minneapolis looks like a war zone from the videos I’ve seen. (If they are real). So incredibly sad.
We don’t go into that part of the city, and especially not now, but it is real. The riots were very scary. It is all senseless behavior that only hurts innocent people.
