Let my birthday week begin! Seven days, just for me. I know it will be a fun week, and I can’t wait to turn the big “Lucky Seven.” I’m kicking off the week with a #ThrowbackThursday to my previous birthdays. Enjoy seeing how I have changed over the years.
Here is a tender young pup who just landed at her new home. I was twelve weeks old and in my new family. If you ask me, I don’t look like the same hound at all!
My first birthday was full of toys. I don’t know why I got so many of these toys, but they are all pretty much gone now. They were a lot of fun and I guess I over loved them. Squishy fishy was the favorite of all! Do you think I look small there? I sure do.
Turning two I seem a bit more mature. This was my polka dot birthday which was a fun theme. You know me, I always love a good party!
Here I am three. This was a sad birthday as my older sister Katie passed away on my birthday that year. There are so many days in a year, but her death landed on my birthday. She was a wonderful sister, and was always so kind to me. We still had a party, but it was not like other years.
I guess when I turned four, I wasn’t into the celebration too much. All I have is a hat. This year we had Madison joining in the party for the first time, along with me and Emma. The family was changing, but we had no idea how much it would be changing in the coming years.
My fifth birthday was in the midst of my leg injury. That year for almost four months I was on limited exercise which was so very difficult. Mom kept to the plan and trips to rehab, and by summer’s end I was able to get back to my regular activities.
Turning six meant the first year with Olivia in our home. Another change in our family dynamic. It would also be my first birthday without dear Emma. We were not close but I sure did miss her party planning and baking.
I’m a really lucky girl to have such a wonderful family, so much love, and so many opportunities. Stay tuned in the coming days for more birthday week fun!

A birthday beauty, year in and out … and Happy Day (and Memory Week). Sorry to have been “missing”, many of our mail subs seem to have gone missing … about to re-do, cause we loved visiting here.
By the way Bailie, always remember that age seven is known to be the “age of reason”, so now you are required to be reasonable at all times in all ways!
Happy Barkday!
Reasonable…I’m not sure if I can do that. I’m thinking lucky 7 maybe. Good to see you here. People come and go, and we always wonder what happened to them.
Let the festivities begin!! Woohoo. Birthday girl! Happy happy!!!
So far so good. I’m having a great time and it will get even better.
What a beauty you are Bailie, I love the purple boa, too darling! Have a wonderful birthday sweet girl.
Everyone says I have my own style, but it works for me.
Bailie, what a lovely, poignant trip down memory lane! You are,, and ever will be, Purple Girl! CAn’t wait to see how the week goes! PARTY ON!!!
So far so good. Lots of fun plans it sounds like for just me.
Oh, purple girl, you sure have changed so much since you were 12 weeks old. Your size is obvious and your colors have faded just like mine! That was a wonderful and sometimes sad trip down memory lane. I know it’s going to be a fabulous week, Bailie! XOXO, Sparkle
I am pretty good on focusing on the good times in life. Sad isn’t really my thing. I think we have a fun week planned for me.
You are such a pretty and sweet girl and we’re happy to help you celebrate your birthday week! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you. It should be a fun week.
Happy Birthday Beautiful Ballie
I’m still six for a few more days, then I hit the lucky seven.

We love the trip down Memory Lane, Bailie. You are sure one very cute girl! Happy Birthday week!
Thank you. I’m really a goofball covered in fur, but that is a good thing.
you certainly are just as adorable as you were as a baby. I cant believe how your coloring has changed though. I hope that you have a wonderful Happy Birthday and get lots of great presents. are you getting a big surprise party?
I’m sure we will have a quiet family party. Emma faded like I did, but Olivia and Madison haven’t faded much.

Since I moved in, lots of stuff has happened in the family, but because I’m a real lover, I have helped everyone get through it all.

Things have really changed a lot. Mom misses the old times, but she also loves things the way they are now.

They started yesterday, and I plan on ramping them up!
