A beautiful evening walk was what I got for my birthday week yesterday. Mom and I went alone to one of my favorite places to walk. She let me do extra sniffing and choose which way to turn at every fork in the road. Can you tell I was one happy camper?
It was a walk over the bridge and through the woods, around the lake we went. I didn’t get to swim in the lake because Mom said it was too dirty, but otherwise, the walk was perfect!
Our favorite find was this lone little daisy. Isn’t it just adorable?
I have a habit of loving to chase bugs flying through the air. Mom had me sitting on the picnic table for a photo, but a bug flew by. She captured this shot of me trying to follow and capture it.
Giving up is not an option, so I keep following the flying bug with my face.
Eventually, the bugs were gone and I was able to post for a photo. Once again, I’m one super happy girl!
As we passed around the lake, we found a small patch of these purple/pink flowers that are kind of pretty. Naturally, we had to take a photo of them.
Mom and I had a great time on our evening walk around the lake. I think we will be going some more places during my birthday week, but I’m not sure. The car is not my thing, but I do love being in other places. Catch me on Facebook over the weekend, and I’ll be back here on the blog Monday.
