Doggy birthday parties can be so much fun, especially at our house! Yesterday I turned seven and celebrated with my sisters. Even thought it was in the nineties and super humid we had a great time!
Since my sisters are not real good in the kitchen, Mom ordered some tasty cookies for us. With it being so hot, cake seemed like a lot of work, and ice cream would melt way too fast. The cookies were a winner of an idea!
We all got situated at the table. Mom likes us to celebrate outside when we can as it can get messy when we dig into our desserts. It is hard to wait, but Mom likes to get a photo before we get our treats. Being the birthday girl, I get to sit at the end of the table.
Can you tell that I am anticipating loving my cookie? I chose the white cookie, my sisters got the brown ones.
How does a birthday girl conquer such a large cookie? Maybe I will try to pick it up in my mouth and break off a piece?
We were all digging in and enjoying our cookies. Of course, it’s no surprise Madison was still trying to decide if the cookie would be safe to eat, while Olivia and I were almost finished with ours.
I was making jokes at Olivia because she wolfed down her cookie so fast!
Madison also tried my technique to get an idea of how to eat her cookie. She was really happy she had the pink writing on her treat.
The frosting started melting a bit in the heat and sunshine because Madison was eating so slowly. She tried licking off some of the frosting to get her taste buds going.
I couldn’t help myself, I had to yell over to Madison to tell her to get busy eating her cookie or I would come and eat it for her! Yelling with food in my mouth wasn’t polite, but it was my birthday party and doggy birthday parties are not always about manners.
Olivia sure polished off her treat. She was the first one to finish!
Once we finished out treats, it was time to open my presents. Everything was in one big gift bag for me. I wondered if I got what I had asked for.
In the bag I found two of the three items on my wish list! Good treats are always a winner, and finally I have my own purple Furballz! Now if my sisters just leave it alone, things will be perfect!
After the party was over and Mom was cleaning up, of course, Olivia jumped on the table to clean up any leftover crumbs. Doggy birthday parties at our house are always a good time. I’m thankful to have such a great family!

My party was so much fun! Madison is a good eater when it comes to her meals which is most important, but she is still very apprehensive about treats.

Mom has given Olivia a different upbringing because she wants a sports star, so her rules have been very lax and on occasion, she does get on the table. Mom doesn’t like it, but in a trial she can do that to get to odor, so Mom lets her.

That Madison is a puzzle for me. She is so proper and picky at times. I love her anyway and we had a Grand time.
