Our fans and batteries make traveling for our dog sports in the hot months much more bearable! Mom wanted one of these Ryobi fans for a long time but when we needed one, everyone was always sold out. Two years ago, she managed to find one, so she bought it. Recently, she began the quest for a second one and had luck last month. Now we not only have two of these awesome fans, we have two sets of rechargeable batteries too!
Although they don’t look real interesting, they are perfect because they can be adjusted in many directions and can even hang from the hook they have. The batteries pop in and out easily too. Mom wrote GBGV on both our fans so we always know which ones are ours. So many people have these fans, we’d hate to lose ours!
When we are in the car for the day at a trial, mom covers the car with the aluminet blankets which really help, and then she hangs one fan from each of the back windows. They are pretty safe as far as keeping our furs from getting stuck in there too. The fans have high or low speed. On low, the battery will last almost all day, but on high, only about half a day. For this reason we are thrilled to have two back up batteries!
Last weekend we crated in a barn building. Mom put up our fans and let them blow on us all day. They really helped to keep us cool. Now you can see why we are thankful for our fans and batteries!

Ha! Love that, GBGV fan club!
What a cool fan. Better yet, I am a fan of yours for life! XOXO, Sparkle
Awww, we are fans of you and your family too!
You are just so smart. I learn so much from reading your blog.
We learn as we go, and share to help out others who may be able to use ideas we have.
You mom takes such great care of you. I’d do the same. It’s all about your comfort.
Have a woof woof Thankful Thursday. My best to your mom. β₯
She says we live a cushy life, whatever that means.
I love my fan when it’s hot too but mine is not battery. Yours are pretty special!
When traveling, the battery fan is a must. We have a ceiling fan at night when we sleep.
Wow, that is a ‘cool’ idea – BOL! Stay cool pups!
LOL, you are right about that!
What an awesome find for all of your summer travels!
It’s very important, especially this year with the extreme heat and humidity.
That’s a wonderful thing to be thankful for, batteries and fans…I’m a fan too, of youπΈCool Pawkisses for a Happy ThursdayπΎπ½π
Oh, thank you. We love our fans that don’t blow cool air on us too π
That is a great idea. You are lucky.
It works well for us.
Mom wrote a comment early this morning but it isnβt here. π. I remember that she wrote about how impressed she was with your organization and forethought! Such good planning, she said. I donβt know where the comment went? oh well. Now you know!! your friend Lilly
Oh, I’m sorry. That happens to us sometimes on other blogs. Mom has to be organized to get things together so they work out. We are thrilled to have fans and batteries like we want finally. Have a nice evening!
Those fans look to be great for you girls! I wouldn’t mind having one for the carport in the back yard! (It can get pretty hot out there with the metal roof over our heads.)
Oh, I bet that metal locks in heat a lot.
We use those fans too. They are nice!
They are great!
Those would be fabulous for working in the garden on a hot day.
Never thought about that, but they would work well for that too.
