We got amazing FastCAT photos from our trial in Boone, Iowa the end of June! It’s no secret we love good photos, and we were not disappointed. The photos in this post were all purchased for our personal use from Kim Nygard, picsbykim.com. The only problem we have had is trying to decide which of the seventy or so photos to post!
Olivia has about four times as many photos as I do. I think because she is taller, it works better when running. Mom always says I’m tiny, short, skinny, but solid as a rock with muscle. If I think about it, it is not a bad way to be! We’ll start with a few photos of me hunting down that plastic bag lure.
In this photo, it looks like I may have veered off to the side for some reason. That probably cost me a second of time.
What do you think of this photo of me? Do I look totally goofy or what? It really makes my mom laugh!
I guess I can be crazy like Olivia, but I do tend to be a more reserved hunter of plastic bags. We are excited to do more FastCAT and Barn Hunt in August!
Step aside folks! Big foot is on the course! Olivia has always had huge paws, and they are still huge. Everyone thought she would grow into them, but they seem to have grown along with her!
There are photos from three of Olivia’s runs, and I think this is one where she is starting to slow down after crossing the finish line. Do you feel the braking in the photo too?
Notice orange girl is wearing her orange nose work collar. It matches the temporary fencing, so she is styling while running! Collars with tags are not allowed. Dogs run naked or with a collar with no tags. Mom is nervous when we are outside naked, so we decided to use our nose work collars as they have all our info on them.
And, Olivia is airborne, starting to come in for a nice landing! Check out those big soft looking paw pads.
Here she is again off on another run. The FastCAT photos are really interesting as you see so much of what we didn’t see at the actual trial.
Once again, she is coming in for a landing on those big soft paw pads of hers.
This shot is after the finish line, she is probably headed right for the photographer who was lying on a blanket after the finish line. Olivia is trying to wind it down.
One last close up shot. The photos she took are all so clear and nice, just amazing. There is no doubt about it, we are happy when we are doing this sport! Hope you enjoyed another glimpse of our time in Boone.
My GBGV Life is happy, so weβre joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!

You boys would be crazy for this sport too and all your Mom has to do is call you from the finish line. Someone else can hold and release you.
Fabulous actions shots. Wow, just wow. What fun you had.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to the pups and my best to your mom. β₯
Thank you. Kim did a super pawsome job capturing us!
What great photos. Fastcat looks like fun. How far do you run? Keep cool girls.
It’s a 100 yard race. The lure starts a bit in and then when we hear tallyho, we are let loose to run the course. It’s all about us, not the human, and we love it.
Every single photo is a winner! Great pictures!
We are lucky to have had such a good photographer at the event.
Wow!! Those action shots are amazing!
The photographer definitely knows how to take photos!
Tiny and solid is a great way to be, i wish i were.
Great photos, you are both great runners!
Mom wishes I would put a bit more meat on my bones because I’m skinny, but it is better than being overweight. I’m happy with small and solid most of the time.
Oh my goodness…those are some pawesome shots!!!
She really did a great job capturing out fun!
Truly ‘wagnificent’ photos!
We are super impressed with the photos.
These photos are wonderful, and we can really see just how much fun you are having!
We had fun every second we were chasing.
We know the girls are almost flying after the target!
They can adjust the speed of the lure so we can’t quite get it. It sure is fun, though!
You make us happy too with these gorgeous pictures, sweetiesπΊExtra double PawkissesπΎπ½π
Thank you.We love happy.
