This year we gave Mom a custom pet portrait for her birthday. We have so many photos of us, and these portraits looked so fun, we had to review one! Our portrait turned out great, and we are all super happy to have it hanging on our wall.

Our Custom Pet Portrait
So, here it is, our very own portrait from West & Willow. It is actually pretty funny because we chose to put all three of us in the portrait and ordered the larger size which is almost the same head size we are in real life!
Olivia just loves the look of our portrait! She is tall, but not tall enough to quite reach where it hangs on the wall.
How To Create Your Own Custom Pet Portraits
To get started, you need photos of your pet or pets. The photos need to be good quality, lighting outside is best, and your pet shot needs to be from the neck up. You can use photos you already have or shoot new ones.
We chose naked photos because we didn’t want our collars and tags in the portrait. Our photos were also taken outdoors.
Once you have your photos, head on over to the West & Willow website where you can choose the portrait type you would like to order. Obviously, we chose the Custom Three-Pet Portrait.
Some of the order options are:
- Number of pets
- Background color
- Frame color
- Frame or no frame
- Perhaps just an iphone case
Click on the product, and the page will come up where you can make all your selections.
Next you will need to upload your photo(s). After your photos are uploaded you will be able to add the names to the photos so things are in the correct order. Move on to the delivery and payment information, and submit your order. It is a super easy process.
The Finished Product
Our portrait arrived in less than ten days and was very well packaged. The back side has the hook thing to make hanging it up a breeze.
Being lightweight, all you need is a small nail. Bailie being the tallest of us three was in charge of hanging it on the wall. Simply measure the width of the wall, divide by two, and put the nail right there.
Mom decided to put it in the upstairs hallway, right outside out toy room. We can even see it from the landing on the stairs.
