Cool summer evenings are ideal for frisbee fun if you ask Olivia. She hasn’t been out playing in the yard with toys in well over a month because of the heat. This week the temps have been cooler, and the humidity has gone down, but play has gone way up!
I’ve been enjoying the evenings myself, often sitting in the middle of the yard watching what is going on all around me. Whoa! What was that? Something seemed to fly right by here!
Why it appears to be one of the frisbee face hounds! I’ve heard about them, but seldom are they seen in our yard! That hound also has giant paws.
It appears that the frisbee hound has some real nice and shiny, white, chompers! They are perfect to hold onto a frisbee while racing at high speeds.
This hound is really wound up with the cooler evening temperature. She looks even a bit crazy if I dare say that!
Olivia could race around with her little Kurgo frisbee disc all night long I think. After having such a heat wave, it is really fun for her to get out and chase, even if it is with herself.
Eventually, even little devils need to stop for a rest after a lot of frisbee fun. She is careful not to let her guard down. One never knows when a frisbee thief might stop by.
As for me, I just enjoy hanging out in the cooler weather, feeling the breeze, and taking in the neighborhood happenings. It kind of makes me smile. Hope everyone else is able to get outside and enjoy some nice evenings too!

Frisbee’s have always been a hit here in Doodleville however… once they’re caught, they become chew toys! Boys will be boys 🙂 Have a great weekend ladies…
We simply enjoy running around with any toy we can find. No one can catch one either at our house.
OMDs you two gorgeous ladies are adorable today. Something about today’s photos highlights your beautiful long flowing ears and all the lovely shades of fur on them. Olivia I have lots of puppy friends here too and I sure do understand how hard it is on an active pups to be so confined and out of their normal active routine. Pups and humans depend on physical activity for good our entire being.
I hope your cool evenings continue as I know Mom likes to be sure everyone has fun.
According to the ‘powers that be’ the mask requirement on the trails for walkers is because there are so many joggers all breathing heavily, not wearing masks, when running..and it is thought the mask will help with potential spread of the C19 for others on the trail. Who really knows as things and recommendations change daily. If it is scorching we have walked in our neighborhood w/o masks. NC seems to be one of the hot spots…in all senses of the word hot.

Fitness is our early morning activity. We are divided and one or two of us run with Mom 3-5 miles, and whoever didn’t run, walks with her for an hour after she gets back from running. Mom could never wear a mask and run or walk it is just too constraining for breathing. There aren’t many folks out that early anyway, and no one has a mask on out on the trails here, thankfully. It is a mess with masks.

Mom says I’m her lazy hound, but I’m fine with that.

That is Florida. It is a climate many love, but not for us. Hope the hurricane makes a turn to somewhere else. They are scary.

Thank you. We exercise every morning but playing is so fun. The hot weather is not fun, so we haven’t played much for a while.

Sometimes I think it would be nice to experience a heat wave, so cool summer evenings came as a relief. Gail says we’ll have to have a lot more global warming before that happens in Aberdeen!

She is a crazy one, although Mom says the reason I get so irritated by her is that she and I are very similar. I beg to differ.

It looks like you’re having a lot of fun. Our German Shepherd lived to chase her Frisbee. She was amazing. The Bayou Boys have no interest in them.
We just like to grab any toy and race around with it. Frisbee is the toy of the week for Olivia I guess.

No one can catch a frisbee here. We wait for it to land, grab it and run around with it.
