We have some fun shots from a dog’s road trip for you today on Awww Monday. Saturday, we drove to DeKalb, Illinois for a nose work trial for Olivia. The trial was in Sandwich, Illinois, but DeKalb is where we spent the night. On the way down, Olivia got to pose with the smarty pants, pink elephant.
Two years ago in July 2018, I got to pose with this same elephant on the way to Illinois for my own nose work trial. The elephant has not really changed a bit in two years!
The two of us love to play on the bed at home, and in the hotel, it is nothing different. We like to wrestle, and also snuggle together. Mom loves this shot of us in a heart shape loving on each other. Olivia’s jumbo paws and long legs are also a fun part of the shot.
Sunday morning the alarm went off early, and Olivia, the star of the day was not real thrilled to wake up and get moving. For one thing, she had some serious bed head going on. I guess it can happen to any dog, right? Hope you enjoyed these fun shots from our trip!
PS: We are in the middle of eleven sports weekends in a row, thus lots of posting about our sports and travel.

I love the nose to nose photo! It is the best, loving picture. The elephant, if my mom’s memory is correct started out live 50 years ago in Cocoa Beach as “Pinky.” He left our area and has been wandering the USA. Nice to see Pinky again. You have very busy weekends ahead. XOXO, Sparkle

Bailie has bed head like all the time, but for me it is abnormal. I think I was moving around too much and got static in my head furs.

We love our nose work and all the places it takes us. Mom says we are her travel buddies. Bailie hates car rides, so she gets to stay home and have fun.
