We are thankful for healthy new dog treats. Mom has changed our food and treats over the years and we are now eating pretty darn healthy. It not only keeps us in good health, but everything tastes super yummy. Last weekend at our trials Mom came across some new treats for us.
Since we were having fun and some success, Mom wanted to get us a reward and stumbled onto a table with natural treats. She decided on some stuffed esophagus and the velvet from antlers. Both are new to us, so we were excited to give them a try.
The stuffed treats are actually really hard and crunchy. Mom says it sounds like we are eating pretzels. They are full of all sorts of good things for dogs like glucosamine and calcium. These little treats make for a good snack now and then.
Take a look at what happens when Olivia finishes the treat. Yes, that is right, she is smiling!
The antler velvet is really a fun treat. We have antlers around the house all the time, but this velvet stuff is really interesting! I can smell the animal on this one.
Olivia has no time for sniffing. She is a dive right in kind of girl. I’m more careful being a picky eater.
Once I finished my smell and taste test, I decided these antler velvets do make me smile! The velvet part of the antlers contains lots of healthy stuff, like Collagen for connective tissue, Hyaluronic acid for joint lubrication, growth hormones, essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, and potassium. They are packed with great stuff!
The woman had a few other new healthy dog treats at her table, but Mom said we couldn’t buy everything.
Our final word on the new treats is silent and just the photo above. We are lucky to have found these healthy new dog treats and we hope to get more the next time we see the lady.

Having healthy treats is a very good thing. Most store bought treats are not that good for you. We made sure our Little Bit had healthy treats.

Wow, those are really some unique treats! It’s great to add different things to the diet so you get different nutrients, that’s for sure. I don’t know about those rabbit ears though – I don’t like to think of Luke eating some cute bunnie’s ears! LOL
Mom has gotten rabbit ears for us before. We kill rabbits but don’t eat them. The ears we did enjoy, but Mom didn’t buy them again because she felt weird about it.

Very cute pictures ! I have no dog but a cat and I think she is the only one in the whole world who refuses all treats, doesn’t even eat chicken or meat only her dry cat food since 13 years ! BtW this reaction on my massage seems to be normal it means that the massage was very good ! It only lasted a day this flu feeling, now I am fit again !
Very weird, but if it works for you, why not, right? We have one very picky cat who pretty much only eats her dry food too.
