Dog texting codes make texting so much more fun! We’re thankful for the invention of voice texting so we pups without thumbs can easily send text messages. Texting is perfect when one or two of us are out and about and we want to stay in touch with whomever stayed home. I thought you all might enjoy the list of favorites compiled by me and my sisters.
HOL – howling out loud
SMB – sniff my behind
OMD – oh my dog
SIT – squirrel in tree
TFT – time for treats
GFAR – going for a ride
WW – wily wabbit
DTA – delivery truck approaching
OMST – over my shredded toy
RISS – rolling in smelly stuff
WONA – working on nose art
HWMP – hanging with my pack
SW – sniffing weekend
LIMK – locked in my kennel
RMFBO – running my furry behind off
TAC – treed a cat
WOMIC – watch out mom is coming
These are some of the dog texting codes we use most often. I feel like they are practical for us and our lifestyle. What do you think, does your dog use any of these? Does your dog enjoy texting too? Now all we need is a nice case for our cell phone like Mom has. Our plain Jane white one is oh so boring!
Quick Note: for those of you who have had commenting issues, please give it a try again today to see if things are working. Our tech person worked on the back end yesterday and didn’t find any specific issues, but thinks comments should be working for everyone.
My GBGV Life is joining Brian’s Home Blog in the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Love this!
🙂 Thank you. Useful for your new pup!
I had no idea about all these texting codes. I do now and I thing they are great.
Have a woof woof Thankful Thursday. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥
These ones are really great for us doggies.
We didn’t either – they are fabulous! And much quieter than our usual barking
Bark to text, but bark softly so your parents don’t know you are texting.
Those were fun ones! Well, except for the TAC one. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Well, we are dogs, but we can see why kitties are not a fan of it.
Too funny!
Thank you. They are quite useful.
Love these! Ducky’s favorite is SIT, although she would also add SOG – Squirrel On Ground; SOBF – Squirrel On Bird Feeder; and SIBB – Squirrel in Bird Bath. 😁😁😁😁
Just a simple S would also work for SQUIRREL, right?
Some of these are new to us. Send me a text, Madison☺
These are ones we all use a lot, especially the squirrel and treats!
What a list! The TAC could be deleted though … or we cat parents could add one to our list CAD – Chased away dog!
Every day is a dog cat war at our house inside. We rarely see a cat outside, so not much use for that one for us.
Those are so fun, and new to us! Luke has bookmarked to use later. 🙂
Computer stuff is so weird & annoying! I still can’t comment when on my Chrome browser, but it works fine when I use Microsoft Edge. I think these big companies do this stuff on purpose somehow to get us on their browser and search engines. LOL
We don’t understand it as there are a couple others that can’t comment at all. Our web person is trying to figure it out, but no luck so far.
what great ones! We nee to send them to our cousin dogs (and cats) so we can start texting back and forth!
HTMT (Who took my toy (or treat) HT-TPS(how tough – trees protecting squirrels) DYSTCM!(Did you see that chipmunk!)
We wish we would see more chippers, but they are hard to find around here. Maybe when we go up north tomorrow?
We have Rosy taking copying your list of texting codes! We really need to have our own phones too!
Our main commenting problem is our opposable thumb lady has fallen behind on things!!
We have our own phone, and Mom has hers that we share if we are out and about with her.
