Our go to canine boredom buster is backseat wrestling! Olivia and I often go to nose work trials together even if only one of us is competing. It can be rather boring waiting in the car all day, so what do we do? We wrestle!
I was competing on Saturday, Olivia was along as the cheerleader. Both of us spent a lot of time in the car and it was getting boring. What could we do but start some wrestling. We both love to wrestle.
Before we can begin, we have to do a beard check. No one wants to wrestle if they have food in their beard, right?
I got off the the best start taking Olivia down with a big hug. Olivia never likes to be the one being pushed around, so it spurred her into big wrestling mode.
As always, she used her giant paw to try to beat me into submission. Olivia is a lot bigger than I am. When those paws head my way, it means trouble for me.
Oh, darn it! She got me. Olivia totally pushed me over. Our canine boredom buster worked for a few minutes anyway, then I needed to be saved by Mom. I was the dog competing, which means I needed to get some rest before my next search. Neither of us had any harm done, and we had a bit of fun.

We were in the parking lot at our trial, waiting for the next search and our turn. No driving and wrestling as we are seat belted in.
we agree to check da bear furst for some leftovers is very important… we love to wrestle too but we can have no beard check… and that is the best part…
Beards are great for keeping leftovers for later, or to feed your sister if she gets hungry, LOL!

Puffin and I wrestle too! In fact, I hurt my shoulder on Thursday wrestling/playing! I cried and could not put any weight on it. Mom had some pills for me, Rest and the meds and I am back to wrestling. Playing is so much fun for all of us. XOXO, Sparkle

Callie and Shadow used to wrestle a bit, too. And Ducky and Radar. It was such fun to watch. I need another Golden! (Maybe one of these days.)
Chase and wrestle are the favorite games at our house…or in the car when we are bored waiting.
It is so fun to have two dogs at least to wrestle and run together! Even if I am slowing down and only do short bursts now. I miss my younger brother ( for VERY brief moments).

Wrestling is a great stress buster! The boys played Wrestle Mania after getting brushed today.
