It’s time to get fur ready for the howlidays at our house. It’s been three months since our last spa visit, and yes, we are all looking dirty, and heavily furred. Olivia and I are the first ones to be all spiffed up. We spent four hours at the spa on Tuesday. Bailie will be going next Tuesday.
Our groomer may have to call a plumbing company to clear her drains after the two of us had baths there. Our furs needed stripping, but mainly, they needed a really good wash. Tons of dirt came out of our coats The howlidays are upon us and we need to look as cute as we can.
Mom gets used to seeing our dingy fur color, but when we leave the spa she is then reminded of how beautiful we are with really white furs. Our excess paw fur is also gone, in other words, our paws have reappeared!
Olivia had some serious beard work done. She doesn’t like Mom messing with her beard, so our spa lady did it instead. It’s not an easy task as Olivia fights hard against anyone touching her beard area. Despite her fighting, her beard sure looks much better now.
Mom says my beard was longer than Santa’s, but now it is not only shiny clean, it is nicely trimmed. Being a girl with a beard is a tough thing to deal with.
I think Olivia is fur ready and looking super sharp. She looks much better when her facial furs are all in order.
After we leave the spa, Mom doesn’t want us to get dirty. She decided to let us go into the weeds anyway, and we managed to stay clean and not find any burrs.
Once Bailie hits the spa next week, we will all be fur ready for the howlidays. The process is not something we like, but it does feel good to be clean and to be rid of that excess fur.
My GBGV Life is joining Brianβs Home Blog in the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
da best looking hounds of all that slice earth!!!
Thank you. We are super bright now.
You girls always look most beautiful and always bring the bestest smile with you! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We were very dirty and shaggy, but no more.
We know all about dingy whites!! We like being clean although it doesn’t last long.
It probably will disappear in a few days, but we will enjoy it while we can.
You are so beautifully clean. Yes it is amazing how our white furs get really white again after a spa day. I hate for my beard to be messed with too! I allow my groomer to touch my beard, but I really do not allow my mom to brush the beard or muzzle. that is why I go to the spa every 6 weeks. Puffin goes with me to get a mani-pedi, and sometimes she stays for the spa treatment. Try to stay clean for Santa! XOXO, Sparkle
Mom has been working with Olivia and her beard, but she still doesn’t like it. The groomer had her husband hold Olivia so she could work on it. We’ll stay pretty clean until it rains or snows which could be in a couple days.
You girls look great – you always do!
Thank you. We were pretty shaggy!
They are really beautiful dogs. And theyβre lucky to have you as a mom
They look so nice when they are all clean and stripped, but shaggy returns so fast. I’m lucky to have them π
You’re all so beautiful and I LOVE those hats!
Thank you. We like to wear hats sometimes.
Gosh! You guys look so furry spiffy! Our hairy slobbery sister Cinnamon is a Red Heeler and she sheds…constantly. She feels the same way about getting her back end brushed as Olivia feels about her beard! Mom has taken her out on the deck and brushed her for the last 3 mornings and has enough fur off to knit a new cat! We can’t wait to see all of yous guys all cleaned up and spiffy in your Christmas duds!
Purrs
Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo, Cinnamon and Barb
Mom had Katie who was a Kuvasz, and she shed 24/7/365 so we know about shedding. We don’t really shed and our furs get stripped. It feels good to be all cleaned up for a few days at least. Thanks for stopping by.
I know you’re going to help mom with getting ready for the Howlidays. You’re all so good and I’m thankful I found all of you.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to the pups and a hug to the mom. β₯
We always help her out with what we can and even some things she never knew she needed help with.
You girls look just beautiful and all ready for Santa!
We are ready but Bailie still needs her spa day. We hope to still look good when she comes back clean.
You two are looking mighty Spiffy! I’m sure Santa will notice.
Looking beautiful ladies
Thank you.
You girls look so pretty, and I bet you smell really good too! Not that you are probably happy about that, but Mom probably is. π
She loves our silky soft fur and clean smell, but it only lasts a few days. We don’t mind it if makes her happy.
The beautiful results are worth it!
We do feel better being all cleaned up and polished.
We are howling over how BEAUTIFUL yβall look! Pierre needs to go back but we are having such issues with his stomach that I hate to leave him anywhere for any length of time.
Poor fellow. We feel so bad for him and his illness. I sure hope they can get it under control so he can feel better for at least a while. Tummy trouble is not fun.
Rosy and Rosy were at the Spa on Wednesday, it’s so nice to be able to see their eyes again..Luckily, us boyz get groomed at home!
Mom does our furs, but at a point, we need professional help, LOL. Mom isn’t a good groomer.
