Staying on the nice list is exhausting for a young hound like myself. I do my best to behave nicely, but temptations arise which cause me to be naughty at times. Hopefully I am on the nice list despite some incidents.
I try so hard to follow rules, but a girl can’t help a little countersurfing here and there. Is it really so bad to steal some of Mom’s food off the counter or the table now and then? I’m still a growing girl and I need to eat. If food is left unattended, doesn’t it mean first come first serve?
I’m dreaming of chasing cat bro Bert around the house. It is so much fun, but it may get me on the naughty list. I enjoy chewing on him and licking him too. He doesn’t seem to enjoy any of the activities I find fun with him. More often than not, he punches me in the nose and face with his claws out. That alone should be punishment enough, not the naughty list.
Dear Santa,
I don’t need much for Christmas because Mom gives me pretty much anything I want or need. I give her lots of loving in return, and we enjoy doing well at our sports together. That said, a girl can never have too many stuffies with squeakers or healthy treats and chews. Feel free to bring some of each for me. I promise to share them with my sisters too. I’m a sweet girl who means no harm, but staying on the nice list is really difficult at times. Hope to hear the reindeer hooves on our roof on Christmas Eve.
Olivia…dreaming of being on the nice list.

oh we are sure that santa can bring some fluffy toys for you and your sisters… we gave up to get a place on da nice list…but we hope for cold temperatures to make some fab deals when we sell our coals LOL
I bet you guys might have a lot of coal to sell. We are hoping to stay on the nice list.
Olivia! That is the same letter I wrote to Santa! Its so hard for a little boy like me to be good all the time!! I think Santa will remember us! Hey mom wanted me to tell you to tell your mom that she wore her Icebugs last week and this weekend and thought of you guys! She loooves them and means we get to walk no matter what the weather!! yay! Have a great day. your puppy friend Chester
It is so hard to always be nice, but we do try our best. Santa is reasonable I think, so we should be alright. Mom has had her icebugs out a couple times already too. She is thankful to have them but wishes she didn’t need them. Have a fun week, Chester and be nice to your sister.
Being a cat, I’m obligated to send a bit of empathy to Bert (and at the same time, cheer him on a bit, too!). Also, being not just a cat, but actually a kitten ~ I share a little empathy with you as we are both young and do often make a few “minor” mistakes. However,
none should really place us on the naughty list, right … we’re just in our learning stage. Huggies, another cat called June.
Hi June, you as so cute, we would love to have you at our house. I think Santa must understand we try but sometimes just can’t behave correctly. I bet we will all be on the nice list.
Of course you are on the nice list. How could Santa not love that face.
I think I’m pretty irresistible, hopefully he feels the same way.
We think you’re a paw in for the nice list, no doubt about it!!!
In my opinion, my nice side outweighs my naughty side paws down.
Awww, what a lovely letter to Santa. It made me smile. I always smile when I see you adorable pups. You’re all on the nice list.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the pups and a hug to the mom. β₯
This is the first year we are not worried about Bailie as she has made huge strides with being a really good girl all year. I try my best and I think Santa will overlook my little slip ups here and there. Madison is one of “those” who are always nice. Happy Christmas week!
I vote for you to be on the NICE list! After all, you pedigree is solid and your pedicure is very nice! What more could a girl ask?
Chablis
Very good points. Sometimes I do slip up, but most of the time I do try to be a good girl.
I too dream of being on the Nice list. I would counter surf but I am just a tad to short to reach the counter, but if food is close to the edge I can use my long tongue to lick it. Then there is my barker which goes wild if somebody comes to the front door, and I just cannot control the volume. Finally I love to steal socks! I run around all cute and wiggly if I capture a sock. I don’t know If I will make it to the Nice list. Bummer. I guarantee my sister, Puffin, WILL be on the nice list! XOXO, Sparkle
I’m sure you will be on the nice list. We are a hot loud mess around here, but it is our duty to protect, so your barking is important. Since you can’t actually steal food, no harm done there either. You take great care of your mom and little sister, so you will be on the nice list.
I am sure Santa would close his eyes to your counter surfing. My Alex is too short to counter surf, but he can hop on a chair and try to grab a morsel or two!
I’m nice and tall, so it is easy to grab things.
Not a nicer or cuter pup has ever lived sweet Olivia!
Oh, thank you…blushing under my facial furs.
Hi Olivia! We purrsonally think you should be on the NICE list. Our Hairy Slobbery Sister Cinnamon is furry much like you and we KNOW she is nice.

I like that you understand dogs. Some cats don’t get it.
Santa knows that you’re still young and learning, Olivia. I can’t imagine you ever being on his naughty list!
I think he will look the other way at my little “mishaps”, at least I hope.
Lovely Santa letter. I’m sure you will be on the nice list. Merry Christmas!
Thank you, I sure hope so.
Of course Olivia is on the Perfectly Nice list! Cheers!
Awww, thank you.
Now i would imagine if Cat Bro Bert chewed on you, you wouldnβt like it much, sweetheart. Maybe stick to chasing your sisters and chewing your toys.
You are nice, you just need to grow up a little in understanding whatβs good for you and what isnβt. People food generally isnβt.
I really love food and like to eat everything I can find. Since I’m tall, countersurfing is real easy for me but Mom gets quite upset about it. I’m still pretty young, so I will keep learning.
Luke has a problem with the counter surfing thing too, and he’s old enough to know better by now!
Olivia knows better but her nose is like a magnet on the countertop and she can’t seem to help jumping up there all the time.
