We are ready for Santa and the reindeer at our house! This year, Bailie gave us each a job. Olivia is in charge of reindeer care, and I am in charge of Santa care. Bailie is making sure we get it all done right. Olivia is still a bit worried about being on the nice list. She thinks she can explain her way onto the nice list if necessary. Santa simply has to wake her up to get the explanation. We have told her not to worry, but she doesn’t believe us.
Being in charge of reindeer care is a huge responsibility as they power Santa’s sled. She found the biggest water bowl we have to make sure they have enough to drink if they are thirsty. We usually give the reindeer carrots for nourishment, so she put out a bowl of carrots for them too.
I’m in charge of Santa care this year. With the COVID thing, I am not sure if he would eat cookies we made at home. I decided to give him some wrapped chocolates instead, to be on the safe side and milk to wash them down. The chocolates smell good and Mom says they are quite tasty too.
Inspector Bailie came by to make sure everything is in order for when Santa and the team arrive. We are very thankful we got snow yesterday, making it a white Christmas. Snow makes Santa’s sleigh work better and it keeps the reindeer from overheating. Our stockings our hung, food and beverages are out, and most important, the fireplace is off! Merry Christmas Eve to all!

oooh that is nice to bring a waterbowl and some snacks for rudolph…. and maybe santa needs it too after all that cookies?
He gets the mug with milk. I bet the reindeer water will be full of slobber after they drink out of the bowl.
Well done girls! well done! Merry Christmas to you all! We hope you have a wonderful time! Chester’s paws are crossed that he is on the nice list too!!! your friends Lilly and Chester
The snowstorm yesterday is a sign it will be a great Christmas this year we think! Merry Christmas to you both and your mom.
I hope Santa leaves you and you mom lots of presents.
We think Mom is set with presents that she got for herself, but we will give her some extra loving.
Merry Christmas Eve! Remember do NOT bark at Santa or he will disappear up the chimney! I ,ay have to shove my paw into Puffin’s mouth tonight as she barks at anything that goes bump in the night. Her 15 pound self thinks she could take on the world! XOXO, Sparkle
We all sleep really deep at night, and have never heard the sleigh or Santa. The cat’s might cause trouble, though. Merry Christmas Eve to you, Puffin, and your mom.
WOW, good job, y’all really are ready and we know Santa will be most happy when he and the reindeer get to you place. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Merry Christmas Eve to you kitties and your wonderful parents.
Darling photos as always!! Hoping Santa is extra nice to all of you! I’m sure he will be!
We hope your fur kids enjoy their first holiday season!
Well, you have all done an A+ job for Santa and his reindeer and he’ll be very thankful when he visits at your home! And how wonderful you have gotten your beautiful snowfall! Now it is sure to be truly good Christmas!
It will have to be a good Christmas with the nice snow we received just in time!
Yay for snow! The reindeer are going to be thanking you for all of those yummy carrots! Merry Christmas Eve!
Santa is important, but the reindeer make sure he can get to everyone’s house.
I love that you not only left treats for Santa but the reindeer too. Wonderful. That puts you squarely on the nice list. You’ll see.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to all and a hug to the mom. β₯
Olivia is still skeptical, but we know with her big heart, she is for sure on the nice list.
Wowwzers! You guys are ready for the Big Guy! We had not thought we should put out those things! In our tiny village, Santa usually comes around on the firetruck Christmas Eve and delivers Candy Canes to the house…this year with Covid, it is not going to happen so maybe we better put out cookies and carrots! Thank you. Our family wishes you love, joy, and peace β¦ today, tomorrow, and always — Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Eve to you all! Hope Santa is good to you.
Wow! Bailie did a spectacular job of supervising! Love the final shot of her. Poor Olivia! She will just have to learn to trust! She did a great job on the bowls of water and carrots – I didn’t see any of the carrots get chewed, or spot an spilled water. And Santa’s snacks also look very well prepared!
She is new to the whole Santa thing, so she isn’t sure the nice list happens if you are not perfect.
Looks like you have everything in order girls, we bet Santa is extra good to all of you this year!!
Merry Christmas Eve!
We have to go to bed soon so we are in dreamland when he arrives.
Oh my you are all well pepared for Christmas!! Have a lovey evening tonight and a wonderful day tomorrow!
Christmas Eve was very nice, and I’m sure Christmas day will be perfect too!
Santa and his reindeer are going to be so happy when they get to your house! It looks like you’ve got everything covered. It’s going to be raining here – it’s already started lightly, we just hope Santa gets in and out before the downpours start!
Our storm is moving towards you. We have ice under our snow, but we are still thankful for the snow and hope the cold sticks around until March so we can keep the snow.
You look ready to us. Have a safe and Meowy Christmas Friends
Timmy and Family
Merry Christmas to you too!
Merry Christmas we hope the explaniton worked and everyone got everything they asked for. great idea on the chocolates and I know the reindeer loved the carrots
Olivia was on the nice list all the time, but still worried. Santa was good to all of us. Merry Christmas to you!
Santa was asked about the milk and cookies thing, and if he needed hand sanitizer left with it. He answered that he has his own Santatizer!
By now Olivia should have her gifts, i hope she will know from now on that Santa understands sometimes things happen to pups but they try hard.
A blessed and beautiful Merry Christmas to all of you.
We sure hope you had some time off and a wonderful Christmas. Santatizer is pretty funny! He left us some really nice treats and we each got a new winter collar which we can start wearing tomorrow since Christmas is over.
