Dog biscuit mix caught Olivia’s nose right away when Mom put the package on the counter. She loves to eat, but can’t bake or cook worth a darn. A baking mix should be just what she needs!

Like many dogs and people, Olivia is totally frazzled when it comes to baking. It’s a shame really, because she loves to eat so much. Wouldn’t it be nice if she could actually make some treats for herself without becoming a hot mess?
Cooper’s Treats contacted us to see if we would like to test their Biscuit Starter Kit, and offer a giveaway to our readers. Of course, we said, yes!
Bailie does the baking around here and she was quite interested in trying out the biscuit mixes we received – Lamb & Mint, and Beef & Cheddar. Once the covers were off, the scent was too much and she had to taste the dry mix! Guess what, she loved it!
You know these cookies are going to be tasty when Bailie seems to love the dry dog biscuit mix so much!
To make the cookies, simply add the correct amount of mix and water in a bowl and stir until it is crumbly.
Place the dough on the counter and roll or flatten it out to about 1/4 inch thick. While you are getting your cookie cutters, which happen to come in the starter kit, watch out for sneaky dogs trying to steal the dough. Yes, it is that good! You can also make smaller cookies as training treats, or for smaller dogs if you like.
It takes about five minutes to mix up the cookies and get them on a baking sheet. Bake them for forty five minutes and you have some seriously tasty treats! We put ours out in the snow to cool so we could eat them.
Olivia inhales her food, which means there wasn’t much photography when it comes to her taste test. She sure did love the cookies, though.
Bailie truly enjoys these treats. She ate hers right down. We had some of each flavor and we all love them both. Bailie says they taste like more.
As usual, I’m the picky one. At first I would not eat mine, but then I crunched it into a million little pieces and ate them all up one at a time. You know, if Madison likes something, every dog will like it!

We work together to try to eat it all, but Mom is a spoiler and doesn’t let us.
I know if picky Madison likes them, they are YUMMY! I could probably help my mommy make them. She is discovering that she will have good days and bad days. She had 2 bad days in a row but so far today is better. She sat at her computer for about 5 minutes but it hurt too much. XOXO, Sparkle
One has to take it easy after surgery as the body needs time to heal. Maybe you need to kennel her so she doesn’t do too much?
Looks yummy and easy.
Water and mix, doesn’t get easier than that.
How wonderful to get to cook up your own yummy goodies!
Yums are always good!
Oooh, that sounds great! This way i could make fresh treats for Grandmaโs dog Lulu when i visit, and my granddog Coda when i dog-sit.
And they are super simple. Just waiting for them to cool off is hard.
Well, we entered the “giveaway” but I think our mom is going to get some of those anyway….looks awesome.
Very yummy. Ours did not last long at all!
This must be good stuffs if you’re sampling the biscuit ingredients and dough before they’re baked!
