A load of fresh powder can sure be a lot of fun for us! When new snow is light and fluffy it is so easy to run through. Madison wasn’t feeling well on Sunday, so Olivia and I went out to play around with Mom for a while. Both of us did some fun running around and recall practicing for treats.
I took off running right after coming outside. Do you like the position of my ears?
Olivia has some funny form because she is so very long. She has super strong legs and is good at launching herself out of the snow.
Look out everyone, I’m rounding an imaginary corner and I’m on a mission!
Here we are working on stay for one and come for the other. Olivia will not stay if Mom calls me, so I got to stay and let Olivia take off.
Sometimes I like to run with real determination through the fresh powder. You can see it in my eyes.
Here goes Olivia, launching out of the powder into the air again. She is a real lover of jumping.
Have you seen a goofy smiling, running dog before? I do seem to smile a lot more lately, even when I’m busy running around I guess. Snow makes me happy, and so does running.
Now I have one last shot of the speedy Olivia for you. We sure had a lot of fun in the fresh snow. Snow is something we are definitely thankful for at our house!

Nothing is more fun than freshly fallen powdery snow to play in. Great pictures!
You are very right about that!
We can tell by your happy faces how much fun you were having out in the snow! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We had a lot of fun.
Looks like fun!
It was a lot of fun!
You have so very much fun in the snow. Mom says it reminds her of herself when she was a little girl I Buffalo. I loved to play in the snow when I was a very little girl too! XOXO, Sparkle
Mom loves to play in the snow too, so as an adult with us she has a reason to be out in the yard goofing around.
oh it feels like being da first pup on earth when we run through da new snow ;O)
It is great, especially the powder kind.
Yay, fresh powder! That sounds like a skier talking, You pups sure look cute and I’m so glad you are having so much fun.
We don’t ski, but we love powder snow. It is much nicer to race around in.
You had a very fun romp in the snow- I sure hope Madison is feeling better!
She was better on Monday and back to normal by Monday night.
Wonderful to see you sweet fur persons having fun in the snow ~ ruff! ruff! ~ Great photos!

Thank you, we had a lot of fun, and so did our mom.
What fun you girls had, and what a workout too! Snow really helps to keep you in shape! π
Incredible action shots! Our Mom takes horrible pictures and our action shots are blurry! But we digress, we are thankful for you guys and your coming to visit us and we are thankful for showing us such great photos of you guys frolicking in the snow! We are so happy to come and visit you! And we hope you have a marvellously Happy Day!
Not everyone is a photographer, or wants to be one. Mom loves taking photos and it is kind of her hobby. She is always working on trying to do better.Hope you had a great day!
Looks like fun!!!
It was a ton of fun.
Look at you both GO! Makes me want to be a dog… um… maybe not but it looks like fun
Oh come on, dogs are great, ask our cats…well, maybe don’t ask them π
I know how you all love the snow. I’m glad you’re having a wonderful time romping in the snow.
Have a woof woof Thankful Thursday. My best to your happy mom. β₯
We really do love snow and always enjoy it.
You barkies are sure havcing fun in that white stuff. As for the Tribe, we’ll sit in front of our big window (the one close to the fireplace) and watch our neighborhood barkies, deer, racoons and other furiends enjoy themselves.

I don’t think kitties like snow as much as we dogs do.
You girls remind me of my own childhood, playing with our familyβs poodles out in the backyard as the snow was falling and into the early evening after it had stopped. It was fun.
My mom was always out in the yard, even in the dark sledding with her brother. We love going out in the snow to play and she loves to go out with us.
There’s nothing better than fresh snow. I hope Madison is feeling better now.
It was just a two day thing thankfully. A bland diet, rest, and some of our probiotic powder we keep for these things did the trick.
There’s joy in every movement! May you have plenty of snow and a long winter to enjoy it.
We hope we get another six weeks of cold and snow, but one never knows these days. This winter has been far too warm. It is best to enjoy it when we have it.
Wow! Y’all sure do race fast in the snow. We might like to play in it for a day or two but Mom would not be happy. BOL!
The serious bikers here have the fat tire bikes and ride all winter long, even when it is below zero. Probably not something for your pawrents, though.
