The snowy faces of a Minnesota winter are back! When it is below zero the air is so dry, snow doesn’t stick to our furs but yesterday we were in the teens above zero, and snow is sticking again!
Luckily, it isn’t wet snow, so we don’t have snowballs in our furs, but it does stick to our faces and furs somewhat. The three of us like to sniff in the snow, thus lots of snowy beards.
Snow doesn’t simply fall off our furs either. We run around and it is still hanging on tight to our beards and legs. Sometimes we get ice balls in our beard from breathing on the snow.
Even Bailie manages to get a nice layer of snow on her beard. She wonders how Mom always knows when she has been sniffing in the snow.
The three of us are really into air scenting. If you are wondering, the snow in my beard and around my nose don’t effect my ability to sniff out things flying through the air.
This photo of Olivia with her snow puss and snow body is here because we think it is kind of funny.
Hope you like the snowy faces of the three hounds living in a Minnesota winter. Now that the chill is gone, we are headed to warm melting weather, so brace yourselves for some dirty dogs next week! Have a Grand weekend!
My GBGV Life is joining Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.
We absolutely love the photos of your snowy faces.
I, Bertie, got to experience the full ‘snowballs in the beard’ effect last week. It was such fun!
We saw those photos of him. It looked like he was really enjoying himself.
Do you have to toweled off when you come in the house to remove the snow? It sure looks like fun! Have a pawsome weekend. XOXO, Sparkle
Sometimes, other times if we are just headed to hang out in our beds, Mom lets us defrost on our own in our beds.
Oh my sweet beautiful GVGB gal pals….no matter if your faces dusted with snow or sunbeams they are snugglicious.
Hugs cecilia
Awww, thank you. We are all super into cuddling and snuggling, with or without snow beards.
we love your snow faces… but we are happy to hear that miss spring is on the way to you too!
We are not happy about spring. It is always a huge ugly mess for weeks. We would rather keep winter longer.
You snow hounds sure made us smile…from the warmth of inside of course!
We don’t mind being frozen on the outside.
We love your cute snowy faces!
Thank you.
You all love romping in the snow. We enjoy watching you do just that.
Have a woof woof day and weekend. Scritches all around and the kitty too. My best to your mom. β₯
We do love the winter, it is almost always fun as long is it isn’t icy.
Love it! I have one of those snowfaced dogs too!
I bet your little buddy loves the snow too.
It’s almost muddy season!!!
We would prefer to stick with another month of winter here.
You girls make snow look like a fun fashion accessory! π
It looks pretty good in our furs.
We LOVE all the snowy shots! Cinnamon is lucky, she does not get snow balls. It has warmed up here some and with all the new snow we have had and the melting we foresee a ton of mud! Do you guys get out in the mud too? Have a marvellously Happy Day!
We are not fans of spring as it is just one dirty, ugly mess. Sadly, it is getting warm this week which will make for a melty mess.
You are beautiful, snowy or not. The snow just adds a bit of a wintry touch.
