Today we are celebrating Girl Power on International Women’s Day. We are all girls and we all run all or part of our own business. Owning your own business is something for every women to be proud of. I was given My GBGV Life by Emma. It is a big job being the tech hound and Chief Blogging Officer, but I love it!
Of course, the blog would not even exist if it wasn’t for our late sister Emma, Debucher Baguette. She founded the blog and built it into what it is today. Being from England, she was quite proper and very particular which served her well in the blogging business. Emma also gave Mom the courage to start her own business.
Bailie has always been the PR hound of the family. Now she is also in charge of our social media accounts. Bailie loves schmoozing with humans which makes her ideal for her job.
Olivia represents sporting dogs of all kinds. She is the family athlete, and absolutely adores her job. This girl shows the world how fun sports can be for dogs and their humans.
Last but now least, we have our mom with her girl power! She started her own business in October 2016 as a real estate Transaction Coordinator and it has grown every year so far which is pawsome. She doesn’t like to use her photo anywhere, so she had this badge drawn up for her to use in her business.

Our peep is a firm believer in entrepreneurship. She has been self-employed for most of the last 30 years (until a client talked her into working for them as an employee and she just retired from that job). She is thinking about re-starting her own business but has been enjoying the last few months of no deadlines. Keep on being awesome and have a marvellously happy day!
Mom isn’t good at being an employee as she is like a hound…does what she wants. Being a flight attendant for 11 years worked because she we in the air with no boss around. Having your own business is a lot of work but well worth it we think. Tell your mom to enjoy the break.

My Rosie slept the whole women’s day and probably fights for her rights tonight when I want to sleep ! Yes our lockdown is still not finished, there are a few things which changed, all shops are open now and the hairdressers too, but you are not allowed to invite more then One person inside and 10 outside only it’s still winter temperatures here ! Sometimes I think that instead of having a brain they have a Swiss cheese with holes in the head !
We think the leaders are on power trips more than anything. It’s time to get the world back to some normalcy.
