Happy National Napping Day! How awesome is it that this wonderful day falls on a Monday and after losing an hour of sleep with that dumb time change? We are always worn out after a busy weekend and need a lot of nap time. This day fits our schedule perfectly. Mom works and we fall asleep on the job. She says we are the laziest assistants ever but she wouldn’t ever dream of trading us in.
Bailie is almost always napping in her big, cozy fur bed. She just adores it and it seems to adore her as well. When Mom went to take her photo, she opened her eyes, but then went back to her snoozing.
I enjoy sleeping in the bed in the kennel, but I also love the fur bed sometimes. Because my fur bed is partially under Mom’s desk, once and a while bumps it with her feet so I get up and go the the kennel bed instead. Both spots are excellent for napping.
Olivia has basically taken over the wicker kennel, so to find her in there sound asleep on National Napping Day is really no surprise at all. Sometimes she sleeps in the window bed or stacks beds next to the wicker kennel, but in the mornings the wicker kennel is her spot for a nap.
We hope everyone gets a chance to at least take a short power nap on this wonderful napping day!

Bailie and Olivia snore and it makes Mom smile. Mom loves a good nap but rarely has time for one. Sometimes she just sleeps on the floor with us for a power nap.
Happy Napping Day! My favorite places to nap are my window seat, the sofa, or the fluffy bed. Puffin is pretty much the same. Sometimes we both snooze out in the yard in the sun where we have our favorite spots. XOXO Sparkle

Awww, watching our babies sleep is the best thing ever. I so remember and I know your mom loves watching you all sleep. You work hard when she need you to and napping is what you need to do in between all that hard work.

She is happy we are all real mellow while she works and we are happy to snooze away and sometimes snore or talk in our sleep too.
well, now I have an excuse to go and take a nap after the damn time change!! lol!!!
Why we still have to do that stupid time change is beyond me!
We are not amused with this time change thing. Didn’t get our long walk this morning because when we woke up as usual we were already an hour late! Yes, today will be a nap day!
It is snowing all day here and we were tired too, so lots of napping happening. Snooze well.
Rosie my cat has not a napping day but a napping year !! 23h per day I guess !
Cats do spend most of their lives sleeping!

Mom would love to nap with us, but she has to work so we nap around her.
You guys have the bestest sleeping and napping spots! We “lost” our beds when we moved a year and a half ago and us cats are not happy with our replacements. We would so LOVE to take over yours! Thanks for visiting us and have a marvellously nappy day!
Cozy beds are so important. When it gets hot out, we won’t sleep in them much, but with cool or cold temps, they are pawsome! Happy napping!

We are super comfy and getting some much needed battery recharging.
Ducky naps every chance she gets – on the couch, Shadow’s old bed, her own old bed, and her new bed. Sometimes even on the living room carpet. You girls all look adorable in your beds!!
We nap all over the place too, but we usually are all in the home office with Mom during the day.

National Napping Day is always the Monday after the time change because we do need it. Lie down and be counted!
Mom wishes she had time to nap with us,but we try our best to nap for her while she works.

It works pretty well for us as we are always up so early anyway. We just are not fan of the dark mornings again.

I think we learned how to really nap by living with cats.
