I once was a pup but now I feel all grown up. Mom says I will always be her baby dog no matter how old I am. It is fine with me as l love to be taken care of like a baby most of the time. Today I’m sharing some photos of me in my first two years of life. It seems like not much has changed in my appearance in the last year, but my first year was full of change.
Here I am with my brothers and sister right after we were all born on March 25th, 2019. I am always easy to find because I have that black spot on top of my head. Mom remembers messaging back and forth with my breeder that night to see how many girls there would be. She only wanted a little girl.
Not much changed with me that first week. This is me at a week old. I am lucky I got to wear the pretty flower ribbon. It seems to me my feet/paws were already big even at such a young age!
My photo at five weeks is kind of funny I think. Now my feet are looking big, but who would guess I would end up with long legs and a long tail?
The day I turned nine weeks old, Mom and my sisters came down and picked me up. At the time I felt pretty grown up, strutting around the yard, showing my siblings I would be the first to leave home.
Mom snapped this photo of me last week strutting through our yard. I look similar in posture to my photo at nine weeks old I think, just bigger and hairier. Even my paws are in the same position!
I changed a lot between nine weeks old and six months old. At six months, I look a lot like I do now, don’t you think?
One year ago the little pup turned a year old. My first birthday was a lot of fun, and Mom got me a great hat too!
At eighteen months I had been in sports for a year already! I found out I love to travel, and I love to compete in the sports I do. Bringing home pretty ribbons is a lot of fun. In a couple days I’ll be turning two and I can’t wait!

oh my what a cute baby… no wonder that you became such a beautiful girl!!!
Thank you. Luckily that dot on my head has blended in a bit.
we always knew you would be a perfect puppy!
Mom says I am a perfect puppy still.
It sure was fun to see your cutie pup pics, you are always such a cutie!
Thank you.
I’m glad we all get to enjoy your birthday week. I love this post as it’s a walk though your life thus far. Mom is right about you always being her baby. I get that.
I think you’re a superstar already and the best is yet to come.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and birthday week. Scritches to your siblings and my best to your attentive mom. β₯
They say I will mature and do even better so it should be fun. I have only been around two years, but I changed a lot in those two years.
Olivia, you are a gorgeous girl! And will always be your Mom’s baby.
She calls me her giant little baby.
It’s amazing how much change takes place. I can’t believe Levi turned 6 months old last week and the change in his size is HUGE!!
A friend of mom’s told her years ago to always take photos almost daily that first year or you won’t realize how much we change, and she is right.
You were such a cute baby, Olivia, and you’re still cute!
Thank you. I think I am cute, but more importantly, I am smart.
Well, what a lovely Monday morning wake up! You are as cute as ever!
Thank you. Hope I will always be a cutie.
Wow!! Itβs hard to believe youβre going to be two. Youβve grown into such a beautiful lady! XXOO
Thank you. I feel more like one, but the calendar says I’ll be two.
I love the post today. You have changed mostly in size, but you have always been beautiful. My sister Puffin has a black spot on the top of her head too. Your Birthday is getting closer! XOXO Sparkle
Thankfully my spot has kind of blended in, but it made it easy to see me in with my siblings. Just a couple more days until I am two.
You were a beautiful baby! Seeing your growing up shots is wonderful! And we have to agree, your walking stride has not changed. We love you in your birthday hat last year. Olivia, you are AWESOME! We hope you have a marvellously happy day!
Thank you. Each of us is different and I’m out to make a name for myself. Bailie likes to please others and Madison enjoys being a boss. I do my best to just be the best I can be.
Always and forever your sweet baby. So adorable. They grow up so quickly too.
Baby look at you now!
My mom fed me and I grew like a weed!
I loved seeing hyow your grew from a newborn! Yes, you look pretty much the same as at 9 months, but in the pic your hair looks wirier. You are a smart and beautiful and ambitious girl!
My furs softened as I got older and they got longer too.
Olivia, Awww indeed! I love that little black dot on your puppy head.
You have become quite a sports lady too. You have succeeded at being the best you can be
Hugs Cecilia
I usually try to do my best. It seems everything is better when we do well at what we love to do.
Oh my- such darling cute growing up photos!
Awww, you’ll always be your mom’s baby girl. Just like Ducky will always be my baby girl and she’s nine years old already. β€οΈ You’re a beautiful girl, Olivia!
Mom calls all of us her big baby girls. It’s nice that way and we are happy Ducky is your baby too.
Part of you will always be that pup, and yet you are grown and doing big dog things. That’s the way of it.
Even Bailie who is seven still has lots of puppy moments in her!
A cutie pie then as well as now. Happy Barkday, sweet girl.
Thank you. I like being cute.
