Our poor Furballz all survived the spin cycle the other day! Mom can be so mean to our toys sometimes. She had the nerve to grab them while I was napping along with some of our dog beds and blankets and stick them in that washing machine thing! I guess I have to hold my toys when I sleep from now on to keep them safe!
When I realized what had happened to all the Furballz, I raced to that mean machine to make sure they were all still alive. They were wet, but alright. They wanted out of that terrible machine asap. Bailie had a similar issue with her fishy toy many years ago. Fishy also survived.
After a bath, I find they smell funny! It will be my job to get them smelling right again as soon as possible. Thankfully, Mom knows better than to put them in the other scary drying machine because it kills squeakers.
I did find my the multi color Furballz kind of in the blankets and stuff. Because that one seems to have had the roughest ride during the spin cycle, I knew it was my duty to rescue it.
Once I had it, I raced to my wicker kennel to keep it safe. I held my paw on it so Mom could not steal it again if I decided to doze off for a bit.
Poor Furballz! I think it has some PTSD from the whole experience.. Normally I take a toy with me up to bed at night, so I decided to take the multi color Furballz with me that night. What a horrible experience for our precious toys. Mom should be ashamed of herself! I’m just super happy all three Furballz survived! We will still play with them even if they have that terrible clean smell for a while!

Oh, no! I hates it when my mom does that to my toys! They loose are their good smells, stiffness, and all I worked on to get it just right. Mean Moms!XOXO Sparkle

well at least your furballz had a kind of fun fair with wild rides … some fun for spring LOL
I don’t know if that spin cycle would be fun. It might be pretty scary.
You just get them all slobbery and exactly like you like them to be and into the washer and dryer they go. It’s just not fair!
Luckily, only the washer because the dryer kills squeakers Mom found out. But still, it is a real bummer. Now we are working on getting them all into good shape again.

We are all working hard on getting the Furballz back to normal as soon as possible.
We agree – when our mom gathers everything up and puts the toys and blankets and beds in that machine we get so upset. Fortunately we get everything smelling and looking much better very quickly.
The beds and stuff don’t bother us much, but our toys creates a real disaster for us!

You get all your things smelling just right and then mom comes along and puts them in the washer so they smell good. To us humans that is. The nerve.

Yeah, it really isn’t nice for us, but it makes Mom happy.

After she killed a squeaker a few years back, she realized they don’t go in the dryer.
Cinnamon hates it when Mom does that to her stuffies! She rolls on them when Mom gives them back to her (and then they get extra chewing too!) She does not like it when Mom washes her balls either! Lets hope you guys get your Furballz smelling right soon! We hope you and your Peeps have a marvellously happy day!
We have all been working hard to get our Furballz to smell right again. It will take some time I think. Hope you all are having a marvelous Monday!
Our stuffies get baths every once in a while. They don’t seem to mind it at all, not even when they are in the dryer. Or am I being insensitive? XOX Xena
We are not a fan of seeing them in the laundry. Dryer, no way, they air dry pretty fast so no need for the dryer. We even find dog baths cruel, so toy baths are really not a good thing in our minds.
Heeheehee! Sorry they ended up getting a bath, but as you know from your spa trips, sometimes it’s just needed.
Anything being washed is not good in our opinion, but humans are really into it.
aw…it is hard to be without our favorite toys but you want to make sure they get clean and keep you safe and healthy! PLus I bet they smell fresh. I hope you will all have a good week and enjoy your favorite toys.
Our Furballz are slowly losing that dreadful clean smell and we are giving them lots of love to help that happen!

Mom tried just one the first time like a year or two ago and it went well, so now they all get in the machine together.
