A couple of hot dogs on a boring trail doesn’t make for very much fun. After Olivia’s great nose work trial day on Saturday, Mom decided to take us for a walk on the way home. We decided to try this trail that we have never been on before.
The weather was sunny and hot and the trail turned out to have little or no shade. Still we did end up walking for about forty five minutes. Mom was sure the trail would turn out to be interesting, but it was as boring as a piece of cardboard.
For fun we decided to be a couple of hot dogs on the rocks and show off our long tongues. Good thing we had water before we left the car and we got more when we returned to the car.
We also stopped on a dead tree for a photo. These two places were the most exciting things we saw on the entire walk! Despite being a trail we will cross of our list of places to walk, it is always nice to try new things because sometimes they turn out to be real fun. This time that was not the case. If you never try, you will never know, right?

Well dang…I’m sorry that Mazomani Trail head was not as expected. However, I like the way the name Mazomani rolls off my tongue.

It was really warm because we are not used to it.
I think these two need a long drink of cold water! And a rest in the shade!
We had some nice water and relaxed a lot when we got home.
Bummer that this walk wasn’t more fun for you girls, and no shade when it’s hot out is no fun. You need a drink and a rest.

We enjoy our walks but are always looking for new places to sniff! Y’all look adorable even when you’re bored.
There wasn’t even much to sniff. Just a boring place.
Cinnamon and Mom sometimes walk a trail like that on the bench at Ingram Mountain, Mom says it is really boring. Cinnamon likes the animal smells. Did you guys smell anything exciting?
Not even much to smell aside from some dried out horse poo.
At least you go the exercise.

It wasn’t the adventure we hoped for, but going for a walk anytime is still fun.
At least you got some good exercise. It’s kind of like watching a whole bad movie, when you keep thinking it’s going to get better! 🙂
Mom kept saying just a little further but nothing changed. Finally we got to go back.
