Tacos are mighty tasty, not just on Taco Tuesday, but also on Fridays I found out. I had a pretty bad nose work weekend, but for the searches I did well in it was fun. One of those just happened to be the taco stand at the fairgrounds. It was a rainy afternoon and I was looking for one to three hides in the exterior area. Where could they be?
I did a lot of looking around, but then my nose honed in on the letter “S”. Hmmm, I have never found a hide on a letter before, much less a letter in the name of a food item.
Holy Milkbones! It is a Friday, but this S from tacos has odor, and it seems to be the only odor in the entire search area! I sniffed a bit more intently to make sure before declaring this find to my mom.
Not only is today Taco Tuesday, it is also Tongue Out Tuesday, so please enjoy me licking my chops as I communicate this find to my partner and teammate, my mom.
Things get serious when I communicate a hide and the treats don’t come fast enough. I know Mom didn’t have tacos with her, but she needed to fork over the chicken or hotdogs for my work.
Finally I had my payment in my mouth. I worked really hard to find the hide in the letter S. Mom always pays us right next to the hide so there is no doubt about what we are getting food for. Hope everyone enjoys some tacos today. Never underestimate the letter S next time you are at a taco stand. Happy Taco Tuesday!

Now you made me hungry
Time to find some tacos since it is Tuesday!
Taco Tuesday, huh? I wish I’d known sooner. Oh well, maybe next week.
Well, the good news is taco Tuesday happens every week!
Your mom is a smart cookie to treat you right next to the hide! happy hunting!
That is standard in sniff training. Never drop a treat or you get a fault, and always reward next to the hide.
wow that was an interesting place for a search …
It was fun, but sad there were no tacos for me.
That sounds like a pretty good find reward!
I got hot dogs last weekend which is rare because they have a lot of salt. They were tasty.
We LOVE the smell of tacos and this one paid off for you!! Good job!
The letter S was particularly nicely scented last Friday!
I happen to love the letter S. That was a great find. I happen to love tacos, and the meat and cheese are my favorite part. XOXO Sparkle
S for Sparkle, right? Meat, cheese, and the shell are tasty, but humans can keep that lettuce stuff. Talk about a boring thing to eat.
Great find and now I’m hungry for tacos. Job well done and treats is a good payment.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. β₯
It is the first time Mom has ever had a search where the hide was on a letter of any sort. It was fun as the odor really traveled around the area from that location so it took me a while to solve the puzzle.
Nice job, Bailie! A chicken or hotdog treat is better than any taco in my opinion!
They are yummy treats, but the taco stand was still fun.
Great work Bailie!
Thank you.
I’ll take some tacos too!
Bummer the stand was actually closed so we could search it.
We like the letter S on the end of a word. I often means there’s more than one! Good job and happy Taco Tuesday and/or Friday! XOX Xena and Lucy
S does often mean more than one but there was only one hide to find.
So the Ss are the Super Safe hide Spot! And you look quite happy with your reward!
I was proud of finding the hide and am always happy to have my snacks.
What a difficult hide! You did well with that one, though.
It looks easy, but with the wind and the building, it traveled up and around a lot. Many dogs got it wrong.
Good job Bailie!!! We also thing Tacos would probably be good any day of the week!
Some ground beef or chicken, cheese and a soft shell is tasty any time.
That was adorable!
Thank you.
Now that’s a new – and fun – take on Taco Tuesday! Great job, Bailie!
We thought so too π
