My sports accomplishments all occurred in the past couple of months. My sisters are the really sports crazy ones, me not so much. Mom and I have been working on it, but lately I’m not so interested once again. I do love FastCAT and I think it will give me my first title when I turn eight.
On March 5th, I earned my Senior Barn Hunt Title, RATS. It took me a couple years to do that. Mom gave up on me several times but she is a determined woman! Finally, to humor her, I found all four of those rats in tubes and finished that title.
A few weeks later on March 20th, I earned my NW3 Exterior Element Title. Mom and I had a great trial together with lots of fun and successes.
On April 24th, I earned two Scent Work Titles. First I earned my Interior Excellent Title, then my Masters Exterior Title.
Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy doing sports, but only when I’m in the mood. My titles do make me happy, and I am proud of them. I’m super sensitive and I also need good motivation to do well. For me life as a couch potato would be fine, but Mom wants me to do more sports. I’m really good when I apply myself. We will see how I feel about it all when I am eight. At least I have traveled twice now. I like staying with my pack, but I really don’t like the car. That is a wrap of my sports accomplishments I’ve had since turning seven.
My GBGV Life is happy, so weβre joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!
we are curous what you will tell about that plan … we bet it works super good!!!
Plans are made to be completely redone and redone, so we will see.
2021 has been good for you. I hope you continue your motivation after you turn 8. Happy Birthday eve eve! XOXO Sparkle
We have motivation issues again we are going to try to work through. FastCAT is easy and doesn’t need much motivation. Now that I am certain Mom will be at the end of the run, I feel better about it.
A late bloomer. Your doing great but I like being a couch potato also.
I am just happy hanging out, but the rest of the family likes to be going and doing. I don’t mind it sometimes.
It’s good to be active and being a couch potato is fun too. Some pups work for treats and some have to be really motivated. Just like us humans.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. β₯
I am a very challenging dog according to my instructors. The fact that I’m also tied to my mom’s emotions makes things tough too. We will keep working on things.
Congrats Bailie! How do you show your mom that you don’t want to do a sport? Do you just ignore her and start sniffing and doing your thing? I ask because I try to pay close attention to Remy and not make him do agility when he doesn’t want to. Sometimes he’s really into it and sometimes he just wants to sniff or play with a toy instead.
Remy is 5 and he is just learning about bird dog training now. We are going to go hunting for the first time this fall. And he earned his first agility title this year right before he turned 5. We all go at our own pace.
I just stand there and do nothing. Mom starts to get really frustrated. Sometimes in nose work if she pushes me I will just alert on anything to get out of there. I guess it is naughty, but I do it anyway.
Haha! That’s why you are my favorite, Bailie!
Look at all those lovely ribbons! You are doing good Bailie, and have fun collecting more.
We have a lot of ribbons at home. I really need to get myself more when I am eight.
Look at all of those beautiful ribbons! You are a SuperDuper winner in our book! We love the photo of you on the stone wall. What a beautiful backdrop!
Mom likes that one too. The Mississippi is below and Minneapolis is in the distance.
What wonderful accomplishments you have made this year! Being with the pack is fun too! You look terrific in your ribbons too! We hope you get motivated to compete a little more! Thanks for visiting us and we are quite enjoying your birthday celebrations this week.
Mom wants me to do more, but I need to want to do it. She has had some issues that have had her upset for a couple months and I read into that and refuse to do my sports. I’m really tied to her emotions.
You can do it, Bailie!-
I may try harder again.
Well we’re really proud of you, way to go sweet Bailie!
Thank you. I need to do more or my sisters will take over all the walls with their ribbons.
What a great sports year it was for you Bailie! We hope you give in and enjoy a few more ribbons and letters when you turn 8!
xoxo,
Rosy and the Gang
Mom is trying to get me to do just that. We will see how I feel.
Everybody and every dog has what they like and what they don’t. Maybe you and your Mom could compromise so you get couch time and active time enough for both of you.
We work on it. I didn’t do a lot of sports last year, but we are trying to get my motivation back again.
I have a girl just like you… and I’m so glad that you have your mom who understands you. Have fun and even more ribbons will follow. You’re an amazing dog athlete!
I am super smart, but I choose when to use my smarts which makes it a challenge for my mom. We will see if we can get our team going again this coming year. Having fun is the main goal and if we are not having fun, we can’t keep going.
You are doing quite well for a dog that is not really enthusiastic about sports, Madison! β₯
I haven’t earned as many titles as I usually do. It is time to catch up to my sisters.
We love the smile on your face, Bailie. We think you are secretly proud of your accomplishments. We heard that 8 is the new lucky 7. XOX Xena and Lucy
Eight will be great and I’m holding myself to it!
