I had my party yesterday with my sisters. It was rather mellow with the extreme heat and humidity outside, but we had fun. Mom took me to the Three Dog Bakery to order my cake. Since Olivia had a cake, I thought maybe some pupcakes would be fun for something different. We brought them home in their own little box.
There are a lot of decisions to make when ordering a cake, like what flavor, what colors, decorations, and so on. My choice was red velvet cupcakes with purple frosting and sprinkles. The owner knows us and she knows I am purple girl. It would be ideal for me!
Waiting to have a bite of cake is the hardest thing about a birthday. Mom always has to take photos which means we have to do some waiting. I could not control my tongue!
Being my birthday, I get to decide when we eat the cake. My sisters didn’t want to wait, but I was teasing them saying we had to wait longer. They were trying to stare me down so I would say they could start eating.
Time for my party to really get started! Dish up the cupcakes, Mom! We all started to eat right away. Look at Miss Madison NOT minding her party manners! She took the entire pupcake into her mouth at once!
As the birthday girl, I started to eat my cake nicely. It is hard to not just wolf it down, but I wanted to savor it a bit.
Two can play at the no manners game! Look at me, Madison, how do you like my eating style?
Actually, it is way too big to eat in one bite. I put it back down but missed my plate. Mom says there is a reason we try to have our parties outside…hmmm…
Mom told Madison to put down her pupcake so she did, BUT then she decided to try to shove it all into her mouth again.
When we finished there were a lot of crumbs around the table. The cleaning crew was quick to arrive. We never understand why Mom sometimes says we are like animals. What does she mean?
No matter, the party was fun, my pupcakes were super tasty, and it’s my party, so I smile when I want to, and I love to smile! Happy Birthday to me!

No one knows what Olivia did with hers. It was there and then it was gone! Mom ordered 10 lbs of green tripe patties to use as meal toppers now and then and I got some treats. Of course, we will all share 🙂
We laughed and laughed at your birthday photos, Bailie☺ The cupcake top with all of the icing in your mouth started it off and Olivia up on the table kept it going! The pupcakes look so yummy! Yes, sometimes we forget our manners but we have fun and it doesn’t really matter if we are partying outside.

That bakery must love you girls, remembering that you are the purple girl. 💜 love how you cleaned up the table, making sure not a crumb was left to the birds. Age is a mental state. I believe I am stuck around 2 years old. The pupcakes were super yummy!

It is out of character for Madison but I guess it was so good she wanted it all and if she broke it into pieces, Olivia might steal some.

We missed your birthday party and we are late! Those Pup Cakes look terrific! We think pup cakes are a great idea. That way everybody gets their own and there is no fighting over who got the bigger piece and Mom is totally impressed that you WAITED for photos to be taken. That does NOT ever happen here.
