There is a chair in the TV room and a couch in the living room where Lucy can sit and watch the world go by in the front and back yard. She seems to prefer the view of the front yard and street when kids are playing, bikes ride by, and delivery trucks arrive.

We love this spot to keep watch over the neighborhood, but the cat has to go because we need our space!
Well, I’m sure Ducky would agree with you. After all the years and months of claiming the couch as her own, she gets very upset when someone else sits on it. She used to bark at poor Shadow; now she barks at my brother and Bogie. She definitely does not like sharing her couch. 🤣

We should be in charge, but cats are mean and this guy fights us if we try to get him to move.
LOL!!! Cats RULE! slowly pushing the bed off MIGHT work, but so might grabbing the bed and yanking fast! ( so yo do not get CLAWED)! Since this a ongoing issue, might I suggest a longer window seat and two beds?

Bert is old, we don’t want to invest too much in stuff for him. We do fear, though, that he may live forever!

Maybe slowly push the bed off and onto the floor with the cat in it?
