Weekend fun was had by all, but in small doses. As promised, we are keeping Mom calm and resting as much as possible, so there wasn’t much to take photos of. Olivia and I did some great racing around in the yard on Sunday. The weather was cooler and the smoke from Canada wasn’t so bad. Since we are not getting our usual walks and runs, we have some extra energy that needs to be burned off.
Saturday there was a small birthday gathering for Mom with the human family. Bailie was in attendance. Our nephew decided to mess with her head furs and gave her a Mohawk. Being a good sport, Bailie let it happen and let it stay for a while. Mom found it funny and snapped the photo of it.
The best thing Mom got is an arm cellphone holder. She leaves the phone at home most of the time because it is big and a hassle to carry. Her phone saved her life, so now she promised to take it along everywhere. The holder is a bit large on my leg, but it works just perfect for Mom’s arm.

It is fun to just be home but we do wish we could travel to our trials. We had to cancel some because of Mom.

If she had not had it on that morning she most likely would not be here today. One never knows what can happen and having a phone can be a life saver.

We have to keep her on a leash because she doesn’t like to do nothing but she is doing a lot of nothing. Glad you enjoyed my mohawk, it isn’t a bad look really. We are super happy you all are back!

A cellphone can be a lifesaver, and should always be with you if possible. Before cellphones I think the house phone had a cord a few miles long but I’m not sure because I wasn’t around then.
