We’re road tripping once again! The doc says Mom can travel and it has been four weeks now since her heart attack. It’s time for us to hit the open road and head out to some dog sports events. For some reason there really aren’t any in our area for another month. Olivia and I are super excited as we love to travel! Our sports calendar is filling quickly and looks to be including several road trips.
Packing is a lot of work. Mom is lucky to have us as we know exactly what to put in the suitcase for our travels. Furballz and some other fun stuffed toys, are of course, a necessity for road tripping! Hopefully there is still enough space for the stuff Mom thinks she needs to bring along with us.
Travel is no fun if you forget to bring the snacks. We pretty much emptied out the snack drawer to make sure we don’t run short on treats during our trip. Mom says they have stores where we are going, but we feel it is best to be prepared for anything.

SO HAPPY for your mom!! (and of course you, you girls). Let your mom have at least room for a change of underware!!! and look out for her taht she doen’t get too overworked. You don’t want to have your road careers blindsided again!
We are taking is slow doing some sightseeing on the way down and then three days of scent work which isn’t a lot of running around.

It might be more stressful on her heart to miss our sports than to travel and do them. We are taking it easy and still having fun.

Mom always over packs. She did learn to cut down a bit when she was a flight attendant, but now she just fills the car, LOL!
